Overview: The EEO Director will assume a leadership and consultative role in the development and constant improvement of enterprise wide Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) and Affirmative Action Programs.&nbsp;
Responsibilities: <p style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">The EEO Director will blend strategic management and operational skills and knowledge to accomplish the following responsibilities</span>&nbsp;which may include, but are not limited to:</p> <ul style="font-weight: 400;"> <li style="font-weight: 400;">Provides consulting and technical advice concerning resolution of barriers to equal employment opportunities.</li> <li style="font-weight: 400;">Serves as liaison and in-house expert on Corporate Management Reviews conducted by Office of Federal Contract</li> <li style="font-weight: 400;">Compliance Programs (OFCCP).</li> <li style="font-weight: 400;">Reviews government contract proposals for EEO compliance and provides Request for Proposal certification to state and</li> <li style="font-weight: 400;">federal agencies.</li> <li style="font-weight: 400;">Represents Company on matters related to EEO and Affirmative Action with state and government officials.</li> <li style="font-weight: 400;">Advises, consults, and educates HR professionals and managers on&nbsp;issues related to equal employment opportunities.</li> <li style="font-weight: 400;">Analyzes corporate organizational policies, practices, and structures for compliance&nbsp;<span style="font-weight: 400;">based risk</span>.</li> <li style="font-weight: 400;">Provides analytical support to legal, conducts adverse impact calculations, and researches regulations, executive orders,</li> <li style="font-weight: 400;">and precedent setting cases.</li> </ul> <p style="font-weight: 400;">This role will require up to 10% travel to conferences.</p>
Requirements: <ul> <li>BA/BS&nbsp;</li> <li>5 years of experience in developing and/or auditing affirmative action plans or related field or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.</li> <li>Experience in&nbsp;Affirmative Action Plan development and management of annual&nbsp;AAP&nbsp;development, includes data&nbsp;collection, analysis review and other skills needed to prepare and manage legal compliant Affirmative Action Plans.</li> <li>Strong understanding of applicable laws related to EEO/Affirmative Action Program development.</li> <li>Experience navigating an organization through an audit/complaint, including writing responses to regulators.</li> <li>Strong proficiency with MS Office products&nbsp;</li> <li>Strong comfort level with multi-tasking and pivoting between strategic and administrative tasks as needed.</li> <li>Ability to work independently and in a team environment.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Preferred</strong></p> <ul> <li>Experience with PeopleSoft preferred.</li> <li>Taleo Applicant Tracking System experience a plus.</li> </ul>
