Overview: The Sales Consultant is a sales professional who is responsible for generating new PEO business. EmPower HR has over 220 happy clients with established roots in Wisconsin and Illinois. We are looking for a Sales Consultant who is dedicated to new business development.
Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Develop new client relationships with prospective accounts through disciplined application of sales processes.</li> <li>Dedication to the prospect specific sales process.</li> <li>Establish and maintain consistent follow-up methods and prospect communications.</li> <li>Develop and maintain a high level of professional and technical service knowledge</li> <li>Adopt and implement the Miller Heiman sales methodology.</li> <li>Utilize CRM maintenance to manage the funnel process and pinpoint areas of success.</li> <li>Local area travel on an as needed basis.</li> <li>Work toward continual improvement of the overall organization.</li> </ul>
Requirements: <ul> <li>2-5 years of outside sales experience</li> <li>Previous exposure and/or interest in sales.</li> <li>Willingness to learn and display perseverance.</li> <li>Consistently courageous with a knack for demonstrating a high degree of initiative.</li> <li>High client impact, disciplined, organized, and accountable.</li> <li>Exemplary communication, interpersonal, organizational, and presentation skills.</li> </ul> <strong>General Working Conditions:</strong><br />This position entails standing for long periods of time. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to communicate effectively with others, sit, stand, walk and use hands to handle keyboard, telephone, paper, files, and other equipment and objects. The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms. This position requires the ability to review detailed documents and read computer screens. The employee will occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. The work environment requires appropriate interaction with others. The noise level in the work environment is moderate. Occasional travel to different locations may be required.
