Overview: Oversee highly sensitive HR and Employee Relations issues across the enterprise that are raised from Masonite&rsquo;s third-party ethics hotline and submitted through the local HR partner. This role provides an objective, consistent determination and remediation of cases and works in conjunction with local HR teams as required. Provides hands-on direction and support to employee concerns in the areas related to work environment and culture. Reports to VP, Human Resources, Diversity, Equity &amp; Inclusion.
Responsibilities: <ul><li>Conducts investigations of highly sensitive HR and Employee Relations issues, including: Conducting complainant, witness and subject employee interviews, analyzing data from various internal systems; case adjudication; proposing remedial action based on investigation findings; production of completed investigation documentation.</li><li>Address issues that arise that from cultural pillars to help identify problems and/or areas of opportunities.</li><li>Correlates engagement survey data to issues arising throughout the enterprise.</li><li>Uses exit survey data to make recommendations for change as it relates to cultural values and processes.</li><li>Independently manages assigned casework, bringing investigations to closure rapidly and definitively</li><li>Designs, collects, and analyzes multiple levels of employee and stakeholder feedback.</li><li>Analyzes aggregate casework data to identify issue trends and opportunities for proactive issue mitigation.</li><li>Analyzes casework trends and produces strategic recommendations to the business to proactively address systemic issues.</li><li>Partners to engage in continuous improvement initiatives.</li><li>Partners in analysis and revision of people programs, policies, and practices to sustain a positive work environment for all employees.</li><li>Consults and collaborates with business partners, Corporate ER teams, Legal teams, and on complex employee investigations.</li><li>The individual also will work reactively on critical employee relations issues that are crisis-oriented and typically can only be successfully completed with limited time. Balancing time between projects and crisis-response is a critical component for success in the position.</li></ul>
Requirements: <ul><li>Bachelor’s degree required (Masters preferred) in either business administration, human resources, labor relations, psychology, or organizational development</li><li>5-7 years of human resources experience within a manufacturing environment</li></ul>Experience:<ul><li>Experience and knowledge of how to conduct an investigation</li><li>Strong listening skills</li><li>Excellent social skills and ability to understand dynamic situations</li><li>Ability to write clearly and concisely and document findings and recommendations</li><li>Experience serving as a company representative and a be a company representative in legal proceedings</li><li>Data analytical skills</li><li>Prior people leadership experience</li><li>Demonstrated ability to manage multiple, competing priorities, facilitate projects and business processes and work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team</li><li>Strong collaboration and problem-solving skills required </li></ul>Role requires 50% travel
