Overview: The Director of Compensation &amp; Benefits leads design, implementation, management, and communication of employee benefits programs and wellness initiatives for US, Canada and Mexico. Reporting to the VP, Global Total Rewards, this position also manages global compensation programs for professional and management employees including base pay market pricing, short- and long-term incentive plans, recognition programs and relocation.
Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Directs the Company&rsquo;s benefits strategy and programs; evaluates, measures, and benchmarks plans using key benefits program metrics to ensure competitive, cost-effective programs</li> <li>Collaborates with HR Team to ensure effective communication of programs to employees and candidates, leveraging Total Rewards as an important part of the employee value proposition</li> <li>Manages relationships with and performance of benefits plan consultants and vendors, developing budget for overall benefits expense to the organization and regularly forecasts and analyzes benefit program spend</li> <li>Develops and implements new health and wellness initiatives in partnership with Line HR to help build a culture of wellness, reinforce healthy behaviors and optimize healthcare costs</li> <li>Coordinates implementation and provide guidance to HR Team on pay decisions, compensation guideline interpretation, and designs creative solutions to specific compensation-related needs</li> <li>Analyzes the effectiveness of compensation policies, guidelines, and procedures, recommends improvements to ensure our competitive position</li> <li>Consultant, thought partner and advisor to business and HR Team; delivers Total Rewards strategy and develops employee rewards packages</li> <li>Develops and delivers Total Rewards communications and tools for HR, leaders and employees, including developing and implementing a Total Rewards statement for US and Canadian employees; helps globalize a Total Rewards communication strategy</li> <li>Manages other compensation programs:&nbsp; ESPP, car program, relocation</li> <li>Manages preparation of proxy tables and other executive compensation disclosures including preparing materials for the Human Resources &amp; Compensation Committee of the Board of Directors</li> <li>Leads integration process to migrate acquired businesses to Company&rsquo;s programs</li> </ul>
Requirements: <ul> <li>10-15+ years leading compensation and benefits, with 5+ years managing a compensation and/or benefits function; Line HR experience a plus</li> <li>Experience in multi-site, multi-national public company strongly preferred</li> <li>Demonstrated analytical, complex problem-solving and decision-making skills as well as experience presenting and communicating to all levels of employees within an organization (from hourly to executive)</li> <li>Proficiency with MS Suite, specifically PowerPoint and Excel (advanced level)</li> <li>BA/BS required; MBA/MA/MS preferred</li> </ul>
