Overview: The HR Generalist position provides to the Global Operations Corporate group advice, counsel and support across the spectrum of Human Resources field to include staffing, employee relations, benefits, training, employee engagement, compensation, performance management and a wide variety of other HR generalist activities. Is a trusted partner and member of the team.
Responsibilities: <ul><li>Supports traditional HR areas of employee relations, benefits administration, compensation/merit administration, HR compliance, wellness programs and employee activities </li><li>Develops and maintains strong partner relationships with the business and key stakeholders to coach and influence the best business decisions.</li><li>Demonstrates ability to source and build talent capability through targeted plans.</li><li>Identifies training and development needs within an organization through job analysis, appraisal schemes and regular consultation with business managers and human resources departments</li><li>Maintains high visibility to promote HR programs and assist management with effective group wide communication including remote workers</li><li>Is able to effectively communicate and influence in both verbal and written formats</li><li>Provides continuous improvement of HR processes</li><li>Able to solve problems in sometimes ambiguous situations</li><li>Able to provide best practices and modify to meet the strategic and business goals</li><li>Demonstrates analytical skills and uses data for decision.</li><li>Upholds and demonstrates company values</li></ul>
Requirements: <ul><li>Bachelor’s degree required (Masters preferred) in either business administration, human resources, labor relations, psychology, or organizational development</li><li>2-5+ years human resources experience</li><li>S/PHR certification preferred</li><li>Demonstrated ability to provide human resources business partner support in a corporate environment </li><li>Demonstrated ability to manage multiple, competing priorities, facilitate projects and business processes and work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team</li><li>Strong collaboration and problem-solving skills required </li><li>Strong MS Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); experience creating reports from an HRIS strongly preferred (Workday, Kronos)</li></ul>
