Overview: We are currently looking for a seasoned, educated, high-energy, hard-working, and strategic Sales Executive. The perfect candidate will understand what it takes to drive change management within the businesses they sell, be well-versed in cross-team coordination and team selling principles across the organization, have relationship management expertise building lasting relationships, and embrace a challenger sales methodology.<br /><br />As part of our Sales team, you will be developing new business in key accounts and working with enterprise-level businesses. You will execute an account plan to deliver maximum revenue potential, and manage complete and complex sales cycles often presenting to C-level executives the full value of our service offering, including performing demonstrations and sales training, in-market events, and other account-specific initiatives.
Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Identify and actively prospect potential new clients that meet our target customer profiles.</li> <li>Drive feedback and bring insights from client meetings and internal meetings to help close deals, help companies scale, and drive higher client adoption.</li> <li>Provide training, presentations, and demonstrations of our company&rsquo;s products and services using effective communication and a challenger sales approach.</li> <li>Make face-to-face sales calls and field visits to new and existing customers throughout assigned geographic territory.&nbsp; Create partnerships with our customers to help them grow their businesses.</li> <li>Plan and manage the territory, maximizing the efficiency of required travel &amp; field visits.</li> <li>Coordinate with inside business development specialists to maximize client touches.</li> <li>Manage day-to-day sales administration activities in a detailed and timely manner i.e. CRM updates and data entry.</li> <li>Learn and become an expert with our full product offering and technology platforms that drive profitable solutions for our customers.</li> <li>Teach contractors how to perfect the in-home experience for consumers with our product by embracing technology and understanding a range of solutions.</li> <li>Identify opportunities for campaigns, incentives, and services that will lead to an increase in sales.</li> <li>Adopt the concept of Business Value Selling within the context of the Challenger Sale model.</li> </ul>
Requirements: <ul><li>5+ years of professional work experience, including experience in a B2B disruptive company, startup experience preferred.</li><li>Keen ability to extract customer insights and inherent understanding of the challenges facing the businesses they sell.</li><li>Proven self-starter who thrives in a fast paced, unstructured environment with tremendous opportunity ahead.</li><li>“Challenger” mentality - you know how to lead with insight (teach), build a consensus, and control the sales process.</li><li>Tech interest and business acumen are important attributes – need to learn and then teach clients the value of our service offering.</li><li>High level of organization with regard to schedule management and follow-up skills are required.</li><li>Excellent communication skills, streamlined decision making, and out of the box, solution oriented thinking.</li><li>Excellent computer skills to include Microsoft suite of products and experience with CRM platforms (i.e.Salesforce.com)</li><li>Experience with millwork and/or building products preferred but not required.</li><li>Valid driver’s license, a satisfactory driving record and use of a reliable personal vehicle and/or company vehicle is required</li><li>Ability to travel up to 75% in order to adequately cover the assigned geographic territory including occasional overnight stays, tradeshows, and corporate/training meetings is required.</li><li>BS required; MBA preferred.</li></ul>*The candidate should live in or around the area south of Sarasota Florida.
