Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Prepare monthly account reconciliations, resolve discrepancies and report misstatements</li> <li>Prepare quarterly reporting requests</li> <li>Perform monthly P&amp;L reviews for our locations</li> <li>Ensure Sarbanes Oxley compliance and accounting policies are adhered to</li> <li>Support internal, external and tax audit requests</li> <li>Improve and maintain documentation and training materials for assigned responsibilities</li> <li>Take part and assist in process improvement initiatives to capture efficiencies in our processes</li> <li>Learn, prepare and support accounting activities in multiple general&nbsp;ledger systems for our locations</li> <li>Participate in special ad-hoc duties and projects</li> </ul>
Requirements: <p><strong>Education / Experience:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Bachelor Degree in Accounting</li> <li>2-5 years of professional experience</li> <li>Experience with corporate accounting and/or public accounting is a plus</li> <li>Active CPA license or progress towards completing the exam preferred&nbsp;but not required</li> </ul> <p><strong>Competencies:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Strong written and verbal communication skills</li> <li>Must have the ability to pay attention&nbsp;to details</li> <li>Willingness to take on and assist with new and varied projects as they arise</li> <li>Ability to multi task and stay organized</li> <li>Ability to work well as a team as well as independently</li> <li>Microsoft Office skills &ndash; Excel, Word and PowerPoint</li> <li>Microsoft Dynamics AX software experience&nbsp;preferred but not required</li> </ul>
