Overview: <p dir="LTR">Are you an experienced supervisor with the ability to provide hands-on guidance in the manufacturing field? If so, you&rsquo;re what Masonite needs!</p> <p dir="DEFAULT">Masonite is changing the way we go to market each and every day. This position will have a very significant role in getting us there. A chance to make a big mark on the way we do business and to get exposure and recognition for it. There are so much upside and opportunity for growth within Masonite as a result, and the strategies that this individual will be driving are second to none in the importance of our operations.</p> <p dir="DEFAULT">This position is a great opportunity to come in at the ground level and make a difference by utilizing Lean Operating System (4 Tier Lean Shop Floor Plan), working with other shift supervisors and plant managers to leverage best practices by moving the needle on measurable safety, quality, cost reduction, and productivity goals and objectives.</p>
Responsibilities: <ul> <li>You will oversee plant activities, supervise the overall production and delegate work assignments to ensure all key performance indicators (KPIs) are identified, structured and addressed.&nbsp;</li> <li>Use production boards to keep employees enlightened and informed of the department performance against standards, working with them to reach their goals.</li> </ul>
Requirements: <ul> <li>High School diploma required&nbsp;</li> <li>Associates degree or bachelor&rsquo;s degree preferred</li> <li>2-3 years of manufacturing supervisory experience paired with leadership skills that inspire, motivate and encourage the floor workers and team leads to ensure that our employees are living the values of Masonite.</li> <li>A high level of personal integrity (self-esteem, confidence, honesty, and respect) are necessary qualities for selection and success to jump into our existing infrastructure without skipping a beat.</li> <li>Veterans with manufacturing experience are encouraged to apply.</li> </ul>
