Full-Time

Overview: The Engineering Manager works with multiple departments and personnel managing projects to successful conclusions. Performs engineering design evaluations and works to complete projects within budget and scheduling restraints, meeting stakeholder expectations. Reviews reports of production, malfunction, and maintenance to determine or address problems with site engineers. Provides technical support and guidance for the engineering process and team. Reviews industry policies and procedures to ensure data accuracy, security, and regulatory compliance.
Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Must have a strong understanding of plant processes and be able to identify critical needs.</li> <li>Understand the constraints within the facilities and work with the individual plant teams on projects/actions to overcome.</li> <li>Learn the CapEx process, and manage the respective plant's spend as well as forecasts for spending.</li> <li>Understand plant capacities, and make recommendations for change if necessary.</li> </ul>
Requirements: <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Industrial, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering</li> <li>5 years of experience in a plant or staff <span class="WK-1">Manufacturing/Industrial</span> Engineering position</li> <li>PC proficiency including MS Office. AutoCAD proficiency a plus.</li> <li>Experience with implementing and managing capital desired.</li> <li>Ability to take initiative on a wide range of project activities and situations.</li> <li>Ability to clearly and plainly communicate both verbally and in writing.</li> <li>Ability to manage workload with flexibility and close attention to detail.</li> <li>Demonstrated ability to interact with all levels of project personnel and to work effectively in a diverse workforce.</li> <li>Six Sigma Green Belt or Lean Manufacturing certification desired</li> </ul>
