Overview: The position exists to provide electrical, instrumentation, and controls troubleshooting and training support for Maintenance&rsquo;s E/I Personnel. The person in this position will also provide support for the Electrical Engineers where required.
Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Provide electrical, instrumentation, and controls troubleshooting and training support for the</li> <li>Maintenance&rsquo;s E/I Personnel.</li> <li>Assist Electrical Engineers in maintaining Engineering and Training Documentation in each</li> <li>Production Area.</li> <li>Assist in startup, troubleshooting, training on new projects.</li> </ul> <strong>Key Challenges:</strong><br /> <ul> <li>Work with and train Mill E/I Maintenance Personnel to develop methods to improve process reliability.</li> <li>Work with Mill E/I Maintenance Personnel to improve troubleshooting performance and methods.</li> <li>Maintain the integrity and reliability of the current control systems.</li> <li>Assist the Electrical Engineers with maintaining the accuracy of the documentation and E/I training materials in each Production Area.</li> </ul>
Requirements: In this position, you will work with all of the hardware and software listed below. The ideal candidate should possess a good working knowledge of as many of the items as possible:<br /> <ul> <li>Reading and understanding electrical schematics and PLC I/O diagrams.</li> <li>Working knowledge and hands-on experience with the following: <ul> <li>Allen-Bradley PLC&rsquo;s (ControlLogix, PLC5, SLC500, MicroLogix)</li> <li>Allen-Bradley HMI&rsquo;s (RSView Stations, PanelView, PanelView Plus)</li> <li>Allen-Bradley Communications (DH+, Remote I/O, ControlNet, DeviceNet, EtherNetIP)</li> <li>Allen-Bradley PLC Programming Software (RSLogix5, RSLogix500, RSLogix5000)</li> <li>Allen-Bradley HMI Programming (RSView32, RSView ME, PanelBuilder32</li> </ul> </li> <li>Working knowledge and hands-on experience with the following or equivalent: <ul> <li>Toshiba Variable Speed Drives (wiring, programming, and recovery)</li> <li>Allen-Bradley 2100 MCC&rsquo;s and starters (wiring and recovery)</li> <li>Electrical Enclosures and Junction Boxes (schematics and wiring)</li> <li>Camera Systems (EtherNet and Closed Circuit)</li> </ul> </li> <li>Working knowledge and hands-on experience with Instrumentation: <ul> <li>Field analog instruments (FT, LT, PT, Nuclear Level, Nuclear Scales, etc.)</li> <li>Field digital devices (Limit Sw., Proximity, Photoeye, Speed Sw., etc.)</li> <li>Instrumentation calibration and recovery</li> </ul> </li> </ul> <strong>Educational and Experience Requirements:</strong><br /> <ul> <li>Two Year Electronics or equivalent Degree</li> <li>Minimum of 2 years of experience working in an environment with PLC&rsquo;s and other relevant hardware and software listed above</li> </ul>
