Overview: <ul> <li>Leverage MA&rsquo;s technical capabilities and broad portfolio of products and system solutions to help design and construction professionals deliver safe, comfortable, and successful buildings.</li> <li>Identify and capture growth opportunities by consulting with industry-leading architects, who select and specify door opening solutions for commercial and institutional buildings.</li> <li>Drive sales opportunities by working with all channel influencers (architects, general contractors, door and hardware companies, installers).</li> </ul> <div id="gtx-trans" style="position: absolute; left: -101px; top: 26px;">&nbsp;</div>
Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Secure specifications for MA products and systems on commercial and institutional buildings.</li> <li>Collaborate with other sales team members to track building projects and convert specifications to sales.</li> <li>Use knowledge of the market and competitors, identify and develop the company&rsquo;s unique selling propositions and differentiators.</li> <li>Observe market trends and identify opportunities for MA innovation to grow/compete via new products and services.</li> <li>Understand the features, benefits, and limitations of MA products and systems as well as competitive products and systems.</li> <li>Collect market intelligence, share through CRM, and adjust offer for future projects.</li> <li>Assists customers in the effective execution of product/project strategy for all commercial building projects.</li> <li>Provide a developed project leads to our customers.</li> <li>Engage and leverage MA talent from multiple functional areas within the organization.</li> <li>Provide AEC professionals with product and system education at AEC firms and industry events.</li> <li>Actively participate in industry associations such as AIA, CSI, USGBC, etc.</li> </ul> <div id="gtx-trans" style="position: absolute; left: -39px; top: 26px;">&nbsp;</div>
Requirements: <p dir="LTR"><u><strong><span class="WIO2">Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:</span></strong></u></p> <ul> <li>Strong executive presence with excellent networking, communication, presentation and consultative skills</li> <li>Exhibits a positive attitude and is a creative problem solver</li> <li>Good team player within a target-driven environment</li> <li>Well-organized and thorough, even under pressure</li> <li>Energetic and highly motivated to deliver specifications and sales results</li> <li>Ability to effectively develop and drive project solutions</li> <li>Keen customer insight and strong understanding of target audiences, channel marketing and brand. Proven self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment.</li> </ul> <p dir="DEFAULT">&nbsp;</p> <p dir="LTR"><u><strong>Qualifications:</strong></u></p> <ul> <li>10+ years of experience in commercial building design, construction and/or technical specification sales with a building materials <span class="WIO2">manufacturer.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;</span></li> <li>Possess a strong understanding of construction drawings, specifications, building codes, sustainability and building science.</li> <li>Proven track record of successful project and business development that has led to rapidly growing revenue.</li> <li>Experience with CRM systems i.e. salesforce.com, Microsoft Dynamics, etc.</li> <li>BS required; CDT, Green Associate or LEED AP preferred.</li> <li>Ability to work productively in home-office and travel up to 60% of the time</li> <li><strong>We will consider candidates from Massachusetts, Rhode Island and Connecticut.</strong></li> </ul> <div id="gtx-trans" style="position: absolute; left: -71px; top: 26px;">&nbsp;</div>
