As a result, we have a unique sales enablement opportunity for someone with a background in pharma, biotech, clinical trials, or research. As the new Inside Sales Representative, you will be a team player with lots of opportunities to add value. Your primary responsibilities will be to apply your experience to identify prospects, bring in leads, and contribute to successful new deals. These are prospects converting to big-ticket deals, following a 6-12 month sales cycle.</p> <p>If you have relevant research coordination or patient experience in a lab, or you understand this industry from other experience and you want to channel your expertise into growing a startup, this is the chance to redirect your knowledge. This is an opportunity to combine your science background with your relationship-building skills and let your entrepreneurial side shine. We're transforming and industry, and we want your creative ideas on how to do it.</p> <p><strong>Our new Inside Sales Specialist will focus on:</strong></p> <p>You will spend your time managing the top of our funnel, researching prospects, and building out leads. Using SalesForce, you will create company profiles, deep-diving into what kind of trials they are doing, what phase they are in, and where ocular assessments fit in, taking a multi-pronged tact to secure new business approaching, in a variety of ways, both the trial funder or sponsor and the CRO. You will meet, measure, and evaluate KPIs, ensuring high conversion rates. You will identify areas for improvement in our prospecting and sales strategy, collaborating with Marketing on sales enablement collateral, and proposing solutions based on your insights and best practices.</p>
Requirements: <p><strong>What you bring:&nbsp;&nbsp;</strong></p> <ul> <li><strong>The knowledge and experience. </strong>You have ~2 years of experience in pharma, biotech, clinical trials, or a similarly relevant company. You have been building an understanding of the process for executing and managing clinical trials.</li> <li><strong>The passion and the initiative. </strong>You want to apply your skills and knowledge to help build a startup with a purpose.&nbsp;</li> <li><strong>The life sciences clinical terminology, the analytics, and the curiosity. </strong>You could dive into the research protocol and make sense of the language. You have a clear understanding of the different phases of trials, and you know how to ask the right questions intelligently.</li> <li><strong>The entrepreneurial spirit and the innovative drive. </strong>You can resourcefully find the hidden and not-so-hidden prospects. You are a continuous learner, open to feedback, and applying lessons learned.&nbsp;</li> <li><strong>An interest in Sales.</strong>&nbsp;Some of the best salespeople don't consider themselves salespeople.
