Reporting to and working in close partnership with the CEO, we have a newly created opportunity for an HR Manager who sees people and operations differently. You will play a critical role in providing tactical and strategic advice on people and organizational planning and processes. You will act as the single point of contact, partnering with the CEO on compensation and our competitive edge for talent, and senior leadership to align an HR strategy with the overall business strategy.

You will play a critical role in providing tactical and strategic advice on people and organizational planning and processes. You will act as the single point of contact, partnering with the CEO on compensation and our competitive edge for talent; senior leadership to align an HR strategy with the overall business strategy; managers to grow and retain talent; and employees on all HR-related matters. This is an opportunity to own and define programming across the full employee life-cycle and develop and implement all supporting HR activities and policies.&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Who you are</strong></p> <p>You are a Senior HR Generalist or HR Business Partner with a career goal of becoming Head of People; and you are looking for a place to take the next step up. You are passionate about every aspect of Human Resources. You may be coming from a smaller startup where the HR/People Operations department started and ended with you. Or, you have the insights from a more established company. Either way, you know what good processes and programs look like - how to build them and how to run them. You are ready to hit the ground running, executing on a People strategy and partnering with the CEO to build out policies, procedures, coaching, conflict management, and employee experience and engagement. You want to bring focus to talent acquisition, performance, and development. Responsibilities: <p><strong>What you will focus on:</strong></p> <ul> <li><em>Key HR initiatives. </em>You will partner with the CEO and Leadership Team to create a clear and competitive compensation structure and career paths across all roles and teams. You will implement a talent assessment and development strategy, including succession planning.</li> <li><em>Employee relations and support. </em>You will be hands-on in executing and driving HR projects, improvements, and change management activities. You will provide HR expertise and guidance to employees and management. You will manage all employee relations matters in partnership with leaders. You will provide coaching and guidance on leadership skills and employee engagement, including performance management, career pathing, merit and bonus awards, etc.,</li> <li><em>End-to-end recruitment. </em>You will lead the recruitment process, from ascertaining resourcing needs of business partners to hiring approval, posting, and interview to offer payroll and benefits enrollment, onboarding, and orientation. You will execute off-boarding processes including, conducting exit interviews and attrition reporting.</li> <li><em>Culture engagement. </em>You will nurture our culture, grow employee morale, and foster motivation. You will manage the employee engagement survey process, analyze and report on data, and create action plans. You will organize and plan (virtual for now) team events and activities that align with our core values.</li> </ul>
Requirements: <p><strong>What you bring:</strong></p> <ul> <li><em>The experience. </em>You have a university degree and ideally PHR or SHRM certification. You have progressive experience in Human Resources in both tactical and strategic roles, working as an HR generalist, business partner, and internal consultant. You have a comprehensive understanding of Human Resources functions with expertise in talent attraction, employee relations, and program development.&nbsp;</li> <li><em>The technical skills.</em> You are proficient with Google Workspace (Gmail, Docs, Sheets, Slides) and you have exposure to a PEO platform.</li> <li><em>The accountability and collaboration. </em>You take ownership of your work and its impact on the company's ability to be successful.
