Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Lead Advertising/Media Agencies to optimize marketing-media initiatives to meet goals and maintain optimum results at an efficient cost.</li> <li>Direct Agencies on multi-media marketing campaigns.</li> <li>Monitor and analyze lead generation results for all campaigns on a weekly basis. Responsible for achieving lead generation and cost per lead goals in assigned markets and by distribution channel.</li> <li>Manage, analyze and make recommendations around media budgets and marketing plans. Ensure all insurance marketing materials meet legal compliance.</li> <li>Monitor industry research, partner with product management and research teams to recommend marketing initiatives based on findings.</li> <li>Evaluate, develop and oversee plans to enhance distribution strategies to achieve program objectives.</li> <li>Report findings and recommendations to senior management.</li> <li>The position may manage 1-2 Associate Marketing Manager(s) to meet media and performance objectives.</li> <li>Direct the media development, strategic planning and implementation of programs to enhance results in greater policyholder acquisition and/or retention.</li> <li>Responsible for developing innovative and creative solutions that meet existing market needs, increase the value of current programs and/or product features and benefits.</li> <li>Collaborate with internal sales and marketing database partners to ensure goals and objectives are achieved.</li> <li>Media Planning experience is key in this position.</li> <li>Must be detailed oriented, reliable, innovative, performance driven, and direct response experience is a plus.</li> </ul>
Requirements: <ul> <li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Marketing, Communications or Business is preferred.</li> <li>10+ years&rsquo; experience in managing integrated media-marketing plans and budgets is preferred. Experience with media planning and media analytics is also required.</li> <li>Requires strong knowledge of broad-based and direct marketing experience in managing and support of large-scale marketing/promotional efforts.</li> <li>Must possess excellent communication, interpersonal, project management and leadership skills.</li> <li>Must have demonstrated ability to think creatively, utilize marketing analytics and research to effectively identify target markets, and incorporate segmentation and competitive analysis into innovative marketing programs.</li> <li>Experience managing vendor and agency relationships required. Must have the ability to manage a heavy workload and make decisions daily on managing competing priorities.</li> <li>This person may have one-two direct report so experience in a managerial role is a plus.</li> <li>Attention to detail is mandatory.</li> <li>Requires proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe, Internet applications and other standard industry software.</li> </ul>
