Overview: $2,000 Sign-On Bonus for External Hires<br /><br />This is a management leadership position responsible for managing Claims Service Representatives within the Auto Claims business unit. The primary function include effective loss and expense management, employee development and succession planning, training, staffing, performance measurements and continuous improvement, ensuring compliance with all regulatory and statutory requirements as well as company technical and customer service Best Practices.
Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Ensure all claims within the team meet or exceed quality and regulatory requirements.</li> <li>Recruit and develop people to accomplish these goals.</li> <li>Provide opportunities, support professional growth and expand staff responsibilities.</li> <li>Communicate corporate, unit and team goals with direct reports.</li> <li>Monitor and reinforce behavior that furthers technical and customer service performance expectations.</li> <li>Continuously seek innovative approaches to address organizational issues. Ensure effective communication by the management team with internal and external customers.</li> <li>Prepare reports and statistical data on behalf of department regarding performance, cost, staffing and resource allocation.</li> <li>Attend meetings, both intra and inter department, to evaluate work product, case management system and overall administrative projects.</li> <li>Participate in committees and projects designed to enhance the organization's goals and objectives. Other duties and responsibilities as assigned or required.</li> </ul>
Requirements: <ul> <li>Four-year college degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience required.</li> <li>Obtainment of industry related designations (SCLA, AIC) and participation in management related course study required.</li> <li>Advanced organizational and planning skills required.</li> <li>Advanced oral and written communication skills required.</li> <li>Advanced Interpersonal skills necessary.</li> <li>Ability to effectively lead change.</li> <li>Full responsibility for a claim team within the assigned unit.</li> <li>Provide coaching, performance evaluations and training.</li> <li>Establish schedules, organize work flow and delegate assignments.</li> <li>Implement hiring and termination actions as well as salary related issues.</li> <li>Monitor and report Team results.
