Overview: The Contract Station Relations Supervisor provides field management support to the independent contract stations (tow stations) powering our Emergency Road Service (ERS) department.&nbsp; You will focus on relationship building and effective communication to coach, tutor and mentor our business practices.&nbsp; A successful Supervisor ensures the stable delivery of &ldquo;Totally Satisfied&rdquo; roadside assistance to AAA members and customers.
Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Guide and motivate service providers to support their key performance metrics, business practices, driver training and conduct, and all other operational issues</li> <li>Supervise the independent contract stations in an assigned territory through regular station visits</li> <li>Inspect and evaluate station locations, verifying that facilities, equipment, and drivers&rsquo; appearances comply with AAA policies</li> <li>Investigate, document, and resolve member and customer service issues</li> <li>Ensure consistent availability of station coverage</li> <li>Prepare proposals recommending expansion or reduction of station call volumes as needed</li> <li>Work with Receive and Dispatch departments to resolve member and provider concerns and hone best practices</li> </ul>
Requirements: <ul> <li>3-5 years of roadside assistance, vendor relations management, or relevant sales experience</li> <li>Prior experience developing recommendations and proposals, as well as successful negotiations and complaint resolution</li> <li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as excellent presentation skills</li> <li>General management, organizational and time management skills</li> <li>Must be comfortable commuting &ndash; 90% of travel within own region and 10% out of state</li> <li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office software products (Outlook, Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Project and Visio)</li> </ul> <strong>Desired Qualifications:</strong><br /> <ul> <li>Experience managing large external vendor relationships, including management of work teams</li> <li>Demonstrated knowledge of the towing industry and mechanical aptitude</li> </ul> <br /><strong>Safe Business Driving Requirements:</strong><br /> <ul> <li>Possess a valid driver's license and an acceptable driving record</li> <li>Provide proof of automobile liability insurance at time of hire</li> </ul> <br />The starting pay range for this position is $74,000 - $98,600 annually.
