Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Develop structural design information using Revit, Tekla, and Bluebeam software applications.</li> <li>Create conceptual to construction ready structural models based on guidance from engineering staff and coordination with other designers.</li> <li>Perform preliminary structural system layout based on engineering team guidance and your experience.</li> <li>Develop details to properly articulate complex structural conditions.</li> <li>Develop and check complete drawing packages for permit submission.</li> <li>Manage and incorporate electronic markups from engineering team into structural deliverables.</li> <li>Collaborate with Project Management, Construction, and Engineering team members in cross-functional settings to ensure that the design is accurate and that contract responsibilities are met according to client's expectations.</li> <li>Apply basic knowledge of building codes, standards, and other criteria in the development of project designs.</li> </ul>
Requirements: <ul> <li>Associate degree (AA) Degree in Computer Aided Drafting and Design or similar technical degree.</li> <li>1-3 years of BIM Modeling in Commercial Industrial, Manufacturing, and similar project types.</li> <li>Motivated self-starter that focuses on details and quality.</li> <li>Working knowledge of Revit.</li> <li>Experience using Revit for permit level document creation is a plus.</li> <li>Experience with Tekla fabrication modeling is a plus.</li> <li>Coding language (C#, VBA, Python) experience and interest is a plus.</li> </ul>
