Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Apply knowledge of building codes, standards, and project requirements in the development of mechanical and plumbing systems design.</li> <li>Use ASHRAE approved calculation methods to perform load calculations for various project/building types.</li> <li>Coordinate with design and construction team to ensure the final deliverable meets the client criteria.</li> <li>Generate permit and construction documents using 3D modeling software like Revit and/or AutoCAD.</li> <li>Participate in project pursuits and conceptual design to assist in displaying the value of the design/build approach.</li> <li>Assist the project team during construction to review any RFIs, submittals, and field challenges.</li> <li>Participate in the development of standards, procedures, and training programs for the group.</li> </ul>
Requirements: <ul> <li>1-3 years of mechanical and/or plumbing design experience.</li> <li>Bachelor-level degree in Mechanical Engineering, Architectural Engineering or related field.</li> <li>Experience using Revit and AutoCAD.</li> <li>Knowledge of codes, standards, and design principles for mechanical and plumbing systems.</li> <li>Ability to work on multiple projects at once.</li> <li>Comfortable with working in a fast-paced environment.</li> </ul> <br /><br /><strong>MAKE YOUR MOVE</strong><br /><br /> <p>At ARCO/Murray Engineering, we proudly collaborate with a nationally recognized Design-Build firm and are one of the fastest-growing Engineering Design Groups in the industry.
