Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Lead and coordinate all managerial and administrative aspects of project from the earliest stages of preconstruction through project closeout</li> <li>Work closely with clients and the design team to develop preliminary concept drawings and project budget</li> <li>Participate in the proposal meeting with clients to review the scope of work, discuss ways to reduce costs, provide value engineering ideas, and negotiate contracts &amp; fees</li> <li>Oversee subcontractor selection and buyout process for all trades and vendors</li> <li>Identify and investigate opportunities to procure material and/or specialty equipment directly when advantageous to project budget or schedule</li> <li>Work with Project Superintendent to develop and review subcontractor scopes of work/contracts, project schedule, and site logistics plan</li> <li>Lead preconstruction planning meetings with all designers, subcontractors and vendors aimed at solving potential constructability, sequencing, and/or manpower issues</li> <li>Lead weekly/bi-weekly OAC meetings on-site once construction begins to review progress and address challenges directly with client</li> <li>Track and manage project performance vs budget; prepare owner pay applications, cost status, and progress billing reports</li> <li>Most importantly&hellip;find a way to make the construction process FUN for your clients, subcontractors, and vendors without sacrificing on QUALITY or SAFETY!!!</li> </ul>
Requirements: <br /> <ul> <li>BS in Engineering or related field</li> <li>2-5 years of construction management or engineering design experience</li> <li>Previous experience leading ground up commercial, light industrial, multi-family, hospitality, or entertainment construction projects is preferred</li> <li>Proficiency using Word, Excel, Outlook, and Microsoft Project</li> </ul>
