Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Prepare detailed preliminary electrical designs in pursuit of design/build projects across several project-types.</li> <li>Design and specify power systems including load calculations, one-line diagrams, equipment sizing and selection, equipment layouts, lighting photometric calculations, and associated system controls for various projects.</li> <li>Provide electrical design direction projects and work with national network of design consultants to help deliver projects.</li> <li>Perform arc flash and coordination studies using SKM power tools.</li> <li>Work as an integral part of team procuring building switchgear, generators, UPS, and other power components directly from suppliers.</li> <li>Play a key role as part of the Power Solutions team delivering turnkey power solutions to our clients, this includes assisting in business development activities by finding solutions to complex projects.</li> <li>Provide value engineering reviews and alternate&nbsp;design options in order to maximize cost savings and better execute projects.</li> <li>Interface with clients, contractors, and vendors on technical issues as electrical expert.</li> <li>Act in a manner of integrity that shows support for the company, its values, and the employees, while maintaining constant focus on meeting/exceeding customer requirements and expectations.</li> </ul>
Requirements: <ul> <li>BS in Electrical Engineering or other relevant engineering discipline; with minimum of 3.2 GPA.</li> <li>3-5 years of electrical engineer/electrical design experience.</li> <li>BIM experience preferred &ndash; Revit, AutoCAD, and Navisworks.</li> <li>Familiarity with electrical engineering software such as ETAP, SKM.</li> <li>Able to organize, plan and manage multiple activities to accomplish desired results.</li> <li>Preferred experience working for a electrical engineering design consultancy.</li> <li>Engineer in Training (EIT) is preferred; ARCO/Murray will support the pursuit of licensure of EIT and/or PE.</li> <li>Experience creating design spreadsheets or coding scripts is a plus.</li> </ul> <br /><strong>MAKE YOUR MOVE</strong><br /><br /> <p>We are proud to be one of the fastest-growing, privately-owned companies in America, celebrating over 30 years of experience as design-build experts.
