Candidates with extensive experience may exceed this range. Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Perform commissioning on mechanical, electrical, controls, and process systems.</li> <li>Act as the commissioning lead for ARCO&rsquo;s largest, most complex projects. In this role, you will be responsible for all pre-commissioning, functional testing, and troubleshooting activities, with the resource backing of all ARCO assets and trade partners.</li> <li>Work directly with ARCO customers and end-users regarding commissioning status, engagement of client operations staff, and facility turnover.</li> <li>Troubleshooting is a major element in this role. Candidate will not only be responsible for identifying issues, but also guiding issues from discovery, through troubleshooting/root cause analysis, to final issue resolution. This must be accomplished by taking a hands-on approach and completely owning the issue through resolution.</li> <li>Project types include Mission Critical, Advanced Manufacturing, Power &amp; Gas Infrastructure, Municipal and Private Water Treatment, Waste-to-Value, Commercial, Controlled Environments Agriculture, and more.</li> <li>Operate as the bridge between design and construction teams. Coordinate system design with installation between clients, subcontractors, and equipment vendors in a way that ensures the seamless turnover of ARCO&rsquo;s projects.</li> <li>Create and execute pre-commissioning equipment checklists to maintain state-of-the-art quality system installations.</li> <li>Create and execute commissioning test scripts that verify correct operation of the installed systems.</li> <li>Lead project commissioning meetings that accurately set expectations and coordinate schedules for all trades.</li> <li>Effectively convey information to onsite superintendents and subcontractors using employee&rsquo;s knowledge of the project&rsquo;s systems.</li> </ul>
Requirements: <ul> <li>Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree in Engineering (with a focus in Mechanical, Electrical, or Architectural preferred).</li> <li>5+ years of experience in Mission Critical, Power Infrastructure, or Water Treatment preferred.</li> <li>Excellent problem-solving skills, with an adaptable and flexible style in working with different types of individuals.</li> <li>Strong understanding of engineering principles (HVAC, thermodynamics, heat transfer, process engineering).</li> <li>Excellent communication and leadership skills.</li> <li>Highly entrepreneurial and self-motivated, with the ability to successfully work on own.</li> <li>Comfortable with spending time on construction jobsite &ndash; approximately 50%.</li> <li>Familiar with construction practices and principles.</li> <li>Certification in building commissioning (QCxP, CCP, CxA or similar) is preferred but not required.</li> </ul>
