Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Maintain equipment by cleaning, completing preventative maintenance, and performing calibrations.</li> <li>Clean and stock work vehicle.</li> <li>Maintain safe work environment by complying with Atwell and/or site-specific Health and Safety Plans by: using proper Personal Protection Equipment (PPE), obtaining and maintaining First Aid and CPR certification, participating in the Atwell medical monitoring program, and maintaining OSHA HAZWOPER certification.</li> <li>Assist in prompt start to survey activities at project site by assembling and setting up necessary equipment.</li> <li>Perform survey activities such as: leveling, traversing, topographic mapping, construction layout, as-built surveys, boundary surveys, profile and cross section surveys.</li> <li>Perform physical tasks such as: line clearing, pounding stakes, setting monuments, and locating critical underground objects.</li> <li>Record field notes legibly and accurately while following Atwell established Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).</li> <li>Communicate effectively with other Crew Members and other survey staff using surveying terminology.</li> <li>Ensure product quality and Atwell reputation by following Atwell Product Quality Manual.</li> <li>Communicate with Crew Chiefs, Project Manager, and Team Leader on workload status in order to meet designated chargeability goals.</li> <li>Previous survey or survey-related internship experience desired.</li> <li>Workload management skills.</li> <li>Strong written and verbal communication skills.</li> </ul> <br /><br />#LI-TH1
Requirements: <h2 class="iCIMS_InfoMsg iCIMS_InfoField_Job">Qualifications</h2> <ul> <li>High School Degree or General Education Degree (GED) required. (Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree highly desired)</li> <li>Valid Driver's License</li> <li>Ability to work outdoors and stand/walk for extended periods of time</li> <li>Ability to carry up to 60lbs of survey equipment&nbsp;</li> <li>Basic knowledge and understanding of the following technical skills preferred:</li> <li>Mathematics and measurements.</li> <li>Care, cleaning, and use of a variety of surveying tools and equipment.</li> <li>Principles of performing basic surveys (i.e., leveling, traversing, etc.)</li> <li>Basic plan reading (i.e., topographic surveys, boundary surveys, etc.)</li> <li>Survey ethics and technical standards.</li> <li>Construction procedures and required safety procedures and practices.</li> <li>ALTA Surveys</li> <li>GPS</li> <li>Total Stations</li> <li>Data collectors</li> </ul> <h2 class="iCIMS_InfoMsg iCIMS_InfoField_Job">&nbsp;</h2> <div class="iCIMS_InfoMsg iCIMS_InfoMsg_Job">&nbsp;</div>
