Responsibilities: <p>Essential Functions-</p> <ul> <li>Establish business relationships, both with colleagues and clients:</li> <li>Manage business operations for your team per client guidelines</li> <li>Foster current staff by assisting with yearly targets and annual business planning</li> <li>Define department objectives through collaboration</li> <li>Encourage strategic growth of the team by creating business development strategy across your region; this includes expanding current clients, identifying new potential clients, and fostering long term relationships</li> <li>Maintain memberships with local residential and commercial organizations to continue to expand the reputation of the group along with the organization</li> <li>Have established relationships with land developers, general contractors and architects to identify and win projects</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>Manage financial goals of the group-</p> <ul> <li>Team utilization, invoice ratio, multipliers, profitability</li> <li>Assist Project Managers with AR collections, effort vs contract value, project profitability, change order submission, monthly invoicing</li> <li>Risk management; contract review, proposal review, licensing review</li> <li>Manage invoices/subcontractors as needed</li> <li>Ensure deadlines and commitments are fulfilled</li> <li>Create and maintain current company standards per client request</li> <li>Research and implement technology improvements</li> <li>Ensure operational excellence and a repeatable process for deliverables.</li> <li>Communicate with employees:</li> <li>Lead from the front by example and allow an open flow of communication with all members of the team</li> </ul> <p>Manage staff-</p> <ul> <li>Leverage other teams to define the recruitment and interview process. Negotiate full compensation package and be aware of market standards to stay competitive in the market.</li> <li>Maintain internal relationships:</li> <li>Communicate often with Regional Vice President, Local Vice Presidents, and Directors</li> <li>Onboard new staff: create a culture of excellence from day one</li> <li>Communicate any performance issues to HR, Senior Leadership and individuals for documentation, and termination of employees once approved by HR.</li> </ul> <p>Responsible for Health &amp; Safety-</p> <ul> <li>Health and Safety is largely emphasized throughout the organization.</li> <li>Be aware of organizational standards, communicate any potential issues with the Safety staff, and be aware of ever-changing industry standard to stay up to date.</li> </ul>
Requirements: <ul> <li>Survey focused Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree&nbsp;</li> <li>Professional Survey License required</li> <li>5+ plus years of experience leading survey teams focused on Land Development or Renewable Energy&nbsp;</li> </ul>
