Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Provide technical guidance and advice with respect to the translation of stakeholder needs and system requirements into technical security mechanisms and system architecture</li> <li>Develop security test plans and procedures for OT, IT, ICS and Network security test, evaluation, and commissioning activities</li> <li>Assist in technical risk assessments as part of design and the assessment of vulnerabilities</li> <li>Assist in the identification, design, coordination, conduct, monitoring, and assessment of various forms of technical testing (i.e., Factory Acceptance Testing, Final Acceptance Testing)</li> <li>Assist in the identification, design, coordination, conduct and evaluation of various forms of physical security testing including penetration testing and modeling of physical security for the CSC ship</li> <li>Conduct internal and external vulnerability assessments, code reviews and penetration tests against Windows and Linux environments, cloud architecture, IoT devices, general networking devices/peripherals, and web/mobile applications (e.g. SQL Injection, Cross-Site Scripting, Cross-Site Request Forgery, and Clickjacking)</li> <li>Responsible for Incident Handling and Response to include incident triage, response, data collection, investigation, analysis and assist the customer with remediation</li> <li>Assessing the impact of system vulnerabilities</li> <li>Scanning assets and validating scans</li> <li>Documenting, Developing, and implementing mitigation plans</li> <li>Scripting and automating vulnerability fixes</li> <li>Maintaining and Organizing Authority-to-Operate (ATO) packages</li> <li>Recommend best security practices and securing procedures to sustain and/or improve security posture of critical information systems</li> <li>Knowledgeable of Intrusion Detection Prevention Systems events, network and host forensic analysis, log review and correlation, pcap analysis, anti-virus software and common operating systems (Linux/UNIX and Windows)</li> <li>Participates in the evaluation and analysis of complex malicious code through the utilization of tools, including dissemblers, debuggers, hex editors, un-packers, virtual machines, and network sniffers</li> <li>Using forensic tools (e.g., EnCase, Forensic Toolkit, Autopsy) and investigative methods to analyze digital media (logs, code, hard drives, memory dumps, etc.)</li> <li>Determine attack methods, threats and develop mitigation techniques</li> <li>Setup and support servers: Microsoft Server 2008, 2012 &amp; 2016.</li> <li>Setup and support Backup systems on Veeam &amp; Backup Exec.</li> <li>Administrate Active Directory, DFS, DHCP, DNS &amp; Print Services.</li> <li>Must have ability to take initiative and solve problems with limited direction.</li> <li>Provide after-hours support for all critical systems as needed.</li> <li>Create and implement training as needed and directed.</li> </ul>
Requirements: <ul> <li>Required: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent</li> <li>A minimum of 5 years' experience in Cybersecurity</li> <li>Demonstrated knowledge and experience in at least five of the following area:</li> <li>Security Design Principles - Network, IT, OT, and ICT Security Design</li> <li>Security testing and validation (i.e., VA, Pen Test, FAT etc.)</li> <li>Quality Management - Developing Security Test Plans and Procedures</li> <li>Application of ITSEC best practices</li> <li>Problem solving skills and ability to lead and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment</li> <li>Master's in Computer Science, Engineering, or closely related Cybersecurity / technical domain</li> <li>Physical Security Professional (PSP)</li> <li>Certified Information System Security Professional (CISSP)</li> <li>Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH)</li> <li>Offensive Security Certified Professional (OSCP)</li> <li>Security Assessment and Authorization Experience (specifically ITSG-33)</li> <li>Generation of artefacts for Authority to Operate (ATO)</li> <li>Physical Protection System (PPS) Design (i.e., CCVE, Access Control etc.)</li> <li>Use of engineering related tools (i.e., DOORS, CAMEO)</li> <li>Security Requirements: MUST be a US Citizen and have Active DOD Security Clearance</li> <li>Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Systems Engineering or a related qualification</li> <li>3+ years of work experience with incident detection, incident response and forensics</li> <li>Experience with Firewalls (functionality and maintenance), Office routers, Office 365 Security, and Endpoint Security</li> <li>Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment</li> <li>Strong attention to detail with an analytical mind and outstanding problem-solving skills</li> <li>Great awareness of cybersecurity trends and hacking techniques</li> </ul>
