This entry-level position provides a unique opportunity to work closely with landowners, educate them on our projects and technology, and acquire rights for successful project implementation. Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Serve as a project point of contact for clients, team members, and vendors, ensuring excellent communication and relationships.</li> <li>Monitor the development processes to report on project scope and schedule adherence.</li> <li>Review easement, lease and right of way agreements and title documents and identify potential issues.</li> <li>Support project closeout activities, ensuring all required documents are properly filed and maintained.</li> <li>Maintain records of communication between clients and team members.</li> <li>Communicate project progress to the Associate Director and/or Project Manager.</li> <li>Review county land records to determine property ownership.</li> <li>Manage land files and records, including right-of-way, surface lease, property deeds, permits, and damage payments.</li> <li>Review and acquire necessary land instruments, such as easements and permits.</li> <li>Assist in coordinating fair market values for land and land rights.</li> <li>Negotiate property damage settlements and prepare and process loss claims related to projects and operations.</li> <li>Analyze legal descriptions, ownership, easement rights, and property restrictions.</li> <li>Address encroachment, damage claims, landowner complaints, and inquiries while minimizing costs.</li> </ul>
Requirements: <ul> <li>Bachelor's Degree or related equivalent experience in real estate, right of way and/or acquisition.</li> <li>One to three (1-3) years of experience in a professional working environment.</li> </ul> <br /><strong>&nbsp;</strong><br /><strong>Additional Skills:</strong><br /><br /> <ul> <li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.</li> <li>Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.</li> <li>Ability to work independently and collaborate with a team.</li> <li>Proficiency in project coordination and multitasking.</li> <li>Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.</li> <li>Willingness to travel.</li> </ul>
