Overview: The analyst will be responsible for the SAS forecasting process and provide a critical review of both the data and forecasted figures. Responsible for the preparation of a variety of reports covering actual results versus plan and prior year, new/lost business report, forecast reports and other ad-hoc reports. Modeling and critical thinking are key components of the role. Success in this role is determined by the accuracy of the monthly revenue accrual, reporting accuracy and thoroughness as well as analysis related to revenue risk and assessment of potential revenue recovery. The position demands attention to detail, system knowledge, and the ability to assimilate multiple sources of information into business recommendations in short periods of time.
Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Lead forecasting/reporting analyst.</li> <li>Lead analyst related to the preparation of senior management reports/client presentations.</li> <li>Provide training for revenue analysts.</li> <li>Ensure accuracy and completeness of revenue.</li> <li>Explain revenue trends and variances by client.</li> <li>Cash flow acceleration and revenue recoveries.</li> <li>Perform month end data analysis and reporting.</li> <li>Drive process improvements and seek out additional opportunities to streamline and enhance reporting/metrics.</li> <li>Assists with revenue account reconciliations.</li> <li>Complex data modeling.</li> <li>Ad-hoc analysis and reporting.</li> </ul>
Requirements: <ul> <li>5 - 6 year(s) experience in finance, accounting, forecasting/modeling or a related area.</li> <li>Demands attention to detail, system knowledge, and the ability to assimilate multiple sources of information into business recommendations in short periods of time.</li> </ul>
