Overview: The National Client Insights Manager is the national contact for Marketing with the assigned category/client(s).
Responsibilities: <ul> <li> <p>National Client Insights Manager is the one point of contact, within Business Intelligence, nationally for a client(s) within the category/categories assigned. The NCIM is to communicate weekly with the assigned client(s)</p> </li> <li> <p>NCIMs are to coordinate with our Client Development Managers and/or our clients to ensure that we are providing the appropriate Business Intelligence services to our clients and that we are being efficient in the process.</p> </li> <li> <p>Assist in preparing for national business reviews, sales meetings and executive client meetings.</p> </li> <li> <p>Jointly develops business development strategies and objectives with our client(s) in the following areas:</p> </li> </ul> <p>-Reducing redundant Business Intelligence activity both within Acosta and between</p> <p>Acosta and our client(s);</p> <p>-Maximizing Acosta&rsquo;s time in front of Category Managers at our Customers;</p> <p>-Training our Business Intelligence team regarding client strategies and objectives.</p> <ul> <li> <p>These areas are to be approached targeting opportunities to increase revenues for the company.</p> </li> <li> <p>Coordinate with data analyst to ensure that the Acosta standardized reports developed for use with specific client(s) are relevant and delivered on time via Share Point. The NCIMs are to jointly take ownership for all content delivered in client(s)&rsquo; reporting.</p> </li> <li> <p>Oversee/develop specific client reports using syndicated or customer scan data to include sales tracking, price tracking, new item success tracking, distribution tracking, client bonus tracking and special business initiative tracking, all to be measured against jointly set objectives.</p> </li> <li> <p>Oversee/develop sales presentations at a national level that can be adapted to each local market for customer calls.</p> </li> <li> <p>Coordinate with the shared services and local customer Business Intelligence teams to reduce redundant activities, share best in class presentations and coordinate work being done against specific client(s) initiatives.</p> </li> <li> <p>Coordinate with the National Client Space Manager to measure against regional/national objectives for shelving in the categories in which client(s) compete(s). Build relationships with assigned client(s) and respond to their needs in the most professional manner possible through proper and positive communication. Attend appropriate client sales meetings and local market meetings. Serve as resource for preparation of interviews as needed. Miscellaneous duties as assigned.</p> </li> </ul>
Requirements: <ul> <li> <p>College degree or equivalent work experience.</p> </li> <li> <p>Minimum 3&ndash; 5 years Category Management , Insights or Sales experience are required;</p> </li> <li> <p>CPG (consumer package goods) is preferred.</p> </li> <li> <p>Knowledge and experience in Syndicate POS, Household Panel, (IRI Nielsen), retailer Shopper Card data (e.g. dunnhumby, EYC);</p> </li> <li> <p>Able to present ideas and translate complex concepts to lead or contribute to cross-functional teams;</p> </li> <li> <p>Examples of being a self-starter with strong problem solving capability;</p> </li> <li> <p>Highly collaborative with strong leadership and project management skills;</p> </li> <li> <p>Creative, analytical thinker with strong presentation and communication skills - able to translate data to insight;</p> </li> <li> <p>Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.</p> </li> <li> <p>Must have a valid driver&rsquo;s license; Additional travel on a bi-weekly/weekly basis within your territory; and this position requires that you drive on behalf of Acosta Sales &amp; Marketing, and as such, any DUI/DWI conviction in the past 36 months will be an immediate disqualifier for this position.</p> </li> </ul>
