Overview: <p><strong>Experience with Excel</strong>&nbsp;,&nbsp;<strong>Relational Database and PowerBI experience, are required.</strong></p> <p>The Sr. Retail Intelligence Analyst's primary responsibilities is to explore new and existing data sources (e.g. Hand-Held Data, Nielsen, IRI, etc.) to identify opportunities to use the data in corporate and client level key performance indicator metrics, leveraging complex and extensive data sets to find useful insights.</p> <p>Successful candidates should be comfortable working with data in a hands-on capacity. Have Act as the subject matter expert on the Analyst team and to train and mentor junior Analyst team members.</p>
Responsibilities: <ul> <li> <p>Interpreting data relative to business needs and translating them into application and operational requirements.</p> </li> <li> <p>Deliver/communicate data-driven decisions to keep Client&rsquo;s competitive in the marketplace thru the utilization of the following data sources and tools. (Cognos, IRI, Nielsen, Spectra, POS data, Etc.)</p> </li> <li> <p>Recommends controls by identifying problems; writing improved procedures.</p> </li> <li> <p>Present data in clear and meaningful fashion, stay up to date on data visualization trends and theory</p> </li> <li> <p>Builds adhoc reports for review from other departments or management on a must-need basis</p> </li> </ul>
Requirements: <ul> <li> <p>3 to 5 years of equivalent work experience</p> </li> <li> <p>1 year supervisory/management experience</p> </li> <li> <p>Working knowledge and experience with Cognos, ACNielsen NITRO, IRI Xlerate, Spectra, and Acosta&rsquo;s proprietary systems is preferred.</p> </li> <li> <p>Must be computer literate with a degree of proficiency in Windows and related software applications including spreadsheets, word processing, graphics, e-mail, database management.</p> </li> <li> <p>Advanced proficiency level using Microsoft Excel (Macros, Slicers, ODBC connections, SQL).</p> </li> <li> <p>Must be able to make presentations coupled with excellent written and verbal communication skills.</p> </li> <li> <p>Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group, executives, managers, and subject matter experts.</p> </li> </ul>
