Overview: <p>This person will work closely with client, so the position must be filled in the&nbsp;<strong>Boise, ID</strong>&nbsp;area.</p> <p>The Director of Business Intelligence for Acosta&rsquo;s Albertsons team is charged with leading a team of Customer Analysts/Managers to drive solution-based analytics on behalf of Acosta&rsquo;s clients at Albertsons Corporate and downstream for superior division-level execution.</p> <p>This person will guide the Customer Analytics team on results-oriented 4P fundamentals, aligning resources and best practices to create long-term positive effects on business results. Also serve as the primary lead for Acosta &amp; Albertsons&rsquo; Shopper 360 relationship, helping to drive insights, tool development, technical expertise, and high-level conversations with the customer. Plus, maintain regular contact with Albertsons, client teams, internal teams, etc., in order to support major priorities for clients at the customer.</p>
Responsibilities: <ul> <li> <p>Lead Business Intelligence team at designated customer or geography.</p> </li> <li> <p>Analyze the overall department needs within the customer team and recommend personnel moves, changes, enhancements, or re-structuring as necessary.</p> </li> <li> <p>Provide clear and directional goals for Business Intelligence team as part of each associate&rsquo;s Individual Development Plan (IDP)</p> </li> <li> <p>Understand and utilize all training resources available to support IDP&rsquo;s</p> </li> <li> <p>Ensure that all department personnel are equipped with the tools needed to function, including proper software and hardware, advanced training, business tools, etc.</p> </li> <li> <p>Build and maintain relationships with the business managers and clients in the development of strategic plans for category management within the customer teams.</p> </li> <li> <p>Organize and present strategic discussions at the Customer(s) in partnership with the Acosta Sales Team and Client.</p> </li> <li> <p>Serve as subject matter expert in all available data including but not limited to IRI and Nielsen syndicated data, POS data, customer loyalty data, internal data and systems to generate information in support of strategic discussions.</p> </li> <li> <p>Stay current with all client, customer, and consumer trends</p> </li> <li> <p>Understand and utilize partnerships within all Acosta Business Intelligence teams including CSBI, Client Insights, Strategic Insights, Space Management, and Retail Insights</p> </li> <li> <p>Other duties as assigned</p> </li> </ul>
Requirements: <ul> <li> <p>(CPSA*) Certified Professional Strategic Advisor Must have a bachelor&rsquo;s degree and 8-10 years of experience in marketing analysis, sales or other industry related functions or equivalent related work experience. Previous management experience preferred.</p> </li> <li> <p>Must have prior work experience in data analysis and systems and demonstrate a fundamental knowledge of the technology involved to operate and maintain these systems.</p> </li> <li> <p>Ability to manage and lead teams</p> </li> <li> <p>Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.</p> </li> <li> <p>Must have a high degree of proficiency in Windows and related software applications including spreadsheets, word processing, graphics, e-mail, fax, database management, Nielsen Workstation, NITRO and IRI Data Server.</p> </li> <li> <p>Must be able to effectively communicate with others both in person and electronically.
