Overview: The&nbsp;<strong>Operations Specialist</strong>&nbsp;will be highly proficient in Microsoft Excel, with the ability to work independently and take initiative as needed. The Operations Specialist will be responsible for setting up, managing, breaking down, and closing out projects daily.
Responsibilities: <ul> <li> <p>The Operations Specialist will set up complex and wide-ranging projects daily in support of various clients.</p> </li> <li> <p>Providing guidance to coordinator&rsquo;s on how to complete various projects daily.</p> </li> <li> <p>Communicate at a high level with purchasing team; to include project questions and tracking information daily.</p> </li> <li> <p>Achieve a high level of proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and Outlook.</p> </li> <li> <p>Prepare projects for shipment via FedEx Ground, Express, or Freight, according to customer specifications.</p> </li> <li> <p>Conduct routine inventory on multiple SKU&rsquo;s as needed.</p> </li> <li> <p>Troubleshoot production issues as needed.</p> </li> <li> <p>Other duties as assigned.</p> </li> </ul>
Requirements: <p><strong>Experience Requirement (i.e. 5 yrs category mgmt or 3 yrs food brokerage):</strong></p> <ul> <li> <p>3+ years&rsquo; experience in the operational field working with FedEx, USPS, and LTL preferred</p> </li> <li> <p>1+ years&rsquo; supervisor / management experience preferred.</p> </li> <li> <p>Proven ability to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining the highest level of professionalism and integrity.</p> </li> <li> <p>Proven computer proficiency required with proven proficiency with Microsoft Office, (Excel/Outlook) is required.</p> </li> </ul> <p><strong>Knowledge, Skill and Ability Requirements (i.e. &ldquo;plan-a-gram&rdquo; software expertise, presentation skills):</strong></p> <ul> <li> <p>Strong judgment and decision-making skills.</p> </li> <li> <p>Ability to work independently on multiple projects simultaneously while ensuring all deadlines are met.</p> </li> <li> <p>Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to last minute changes.</p> </li> <li> <p>Professional demeanor and positive attitude.</p> </li> <li> <p>Ability to be very analytical and detail oriented.</p> </li> </ul>
