Regular Full-Time

Overview: The Bid Coordinator is responsible for coordinating bids and maintaining contracts with various agencies, schools and military. Researching products, negotiating and soliciting fixed bid pricing, capturing and maintaining bid contracts. Manage awarded bids and communicate with procurement for on time performance and guarantee timely distribution at correct bid.
Responsibilities: <ul><li>Identify RFPs in progress. Solicit RFPs as requested </li><li>Qualify RFPs </li><li>Manage Net off Invoicing for all k-12, USDA commodity products and pass through products. </li><li>Manage and guarantee that all awarded allowances are on file </li><li>Verify cost as allowed by bid and recommend price increase where allowed </li><li>Work closely with purchasing to order products awarded on bids to ship on schedule </li><li>Set up and maintain cost template to avoid pricing discrepancies </li><li>Establish open communication with customers for telephone quotes, questions, and problem-solving </li><li>Serve as back up for National Accounts </li><li>Assist in collecting outstanding debts </li><li>Bill vendors for samples </li><li>Other duties as assigned</li></ul>
Requirements: <ul><li>High School diploma or equivalent; some college </li><li>1-2 years administrative support in a sales environment </li><li>1-2 years bid experience </li><li>Good communication skills; ability to work under pressure </li><li>Good problem-solving and decision making skills; working knowledge of MS Word and Excel </li><li>Foodservice purchasing and sales a plus; ability to read, analyze and interpret bids and quotes along with calculating discounts, interest, percentages and margins a plus By submitting your application you agree with and accept the Acosta Privacy Statement and Terms of Conditions.
