Regular Full-Time

Overview: The Director, Corporate Distribution’s role is to develop new business and grow existing business by analyzing account potential, initiating new programs, and communicating needs to clients. This position will have a dotted line to the SVP, Strategy and Distribution.
Responsibilities: <ul><li>Initiate sales process by building relationships, qualifying potential, and scheduling appointments with clients </li><li>Build and develop relationships throughout the corporate hierarchy </li><li>Collaborate with clients in developing corporate programs and sales strategies </li><li>Schedule annual corporate reviews for clients </li><li>Monitor competitive products, prices, programs, and promotions </li><li>Negotiates and cloeses sales by implementing appropriate sales techniques </li><li>Communicate corporate needs and opportunities to clients </li><li>Create corporate promotions </li><li>Identify development potential by studying and evaluating current business </li><li>Attend food shows </li><li>Assist in sales presentations </li><li>Communicate all corporate programs to Distributor Account Managers </li><li>Facilitates video training programs on new lines </li><li>Facilitates video conference calls to educate Distributor Account Managers on day-to-day activities </li><li>Other duties as assigned</li></ul>
Requirements: <ul><li>5 – 7 Years of experience in the foodservice industry </li><li>Experience as either a broker or distributor representative is preferred </li><li>Previous supervisor experience is preferred </li><li>A positive, professional, and proactive attitude </li><li>Strong communication skills </li><li>Leadership and management skills </li><li>Adept at building trust and credibility </li><li>Planning and organizational skills </li><li>Works well with teams and has strong motivational skills </li><li>Strong problem solving and strategic planning skills </li><li>Must have a valid driver’s license </li><li>This position requires that you drive on behalf of Acosta Sales & Marketing, and as such, any DUI/DWI conviction in the past 36 months will be an immediate disqualifier for this position.
