Overview: The Retail Analyst primary responsibility of this position is to provide analysis and supporting recommendations for the Retail Analytics team, supporting internal retail-driven initiatives and external client reporting and initiatives.
Responsibilities: <ul><li>Organizes and analyzes data from available data sources including iQubed, IRI, Nielsen, Spectra, POS data, Nielsen Homescan and others to support retail reporting, projects and initiatives.  </li><li>Manage deliverables and requests for assigned clients to include new item, coverage, merchandising objectives, voids/chronic out of stocks, and other client projects. </li><li>As assigned, create analysis, recommendations and presentations to support retail initiatives and projects. </li><li>As assigned, develop standard templates, scorecards and benchmarking capability across customer teams and region. </li><li>As assigned, deliver retail analysis presentations to both internal and external contacts. </li><li>Provide support and recommendations for improvements to tools and information used within retail analytics. </li><li>Miscellaneous duties as assigned</li></ul>
Requirements: <ul><li>Must have college degree or three to five years experience in marketing/retail analysis (or previous experience as an Analyst).  Specific knowledge of IRI and/or ACNielsen systems, other data gathering systems and their uses in creating reports, recommendations and presentations is desired. </li><li>Must be computer literate with a degree of proficiency in Windows and related software applications including spreadsheets, word processing, graphics, e-mail, fax ability, database management.  Experience with ACNielsen NITRO, IRI Xlerate, Spectra, and Acosta’s proprietary systems is preferred. </li><li>Must be able to effectively communicate with others.
