Regular Full-Time

Overview: Serve as the coordinator for all vendor-related procurement processes for a specific retailer within a specific market or region.
Responsibilities: <ul><li>Act as a consultant and assist in the proper creation of all Vendor Replenishment Orders. </li><li>Acts as consultant and assists with securing proper information relative to new items, change in existing items. </li><li>Maintain retailers’ database with proper product information as it relates to pricing, promotions and dimensions. </li><li>Acts as consultant and assists with monitoring of the replenishment system for inaccuracies and potential problems. </li><li>Develop and maintain good rapport with all Vendors within the retailer’s organization. </li><li>Acts as the liaison between Acosta and the retailer to resolve any potential order issues. </li><li>Update Retailers record of authorized items and store codes weekly. </li><li>Acts as consultant and assists with correcting invalid UPC codes and incorrect product specifications (i.e., weights, pallet configurations, cube) in the customers’ systems. </li><li>Assist Business Managers as needed with product inventories, code dating checks and rotation of product (warehouse level). </li><li>Effectively function as a team player to strengthen Acosta’s relationship with customer. </li><li>Perform special assignments for the company and/or branch as needed.</li></ul>
Requirements: <ul><li>High School Diploma/GED </li><li>Some College </li><li>Prior food brokerage experience as a Sales Support Associate or Lead is strongly preferred. Must have four years customer service experience with at least two years at a senior level. </li><li>Must have advanced expertise in Word, Excel, presentation software and E-mail. Must type at least 60 wpm. </li><li>Must possess strong interpersonal, organizational and administrative skills. </li><li>Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to drive a car. </li><li>Must be able to effectively communicate with others. Must be able to operate a calculator, computer, printer, fax machine, telephone, copier, shredder, paper cutter and postage machine. </li><li>Must present a professional image and be able to represent the company in a professional manner.
