Overview: The Retail Beauty Manager is responsible for increasing retail sales and brand awareness through strong presentations and education at the store level. This position will have a strong presence in stores and know how capitalize on opportunities that will grow the business. Focus will be on Beauty Consultant team and retail goals. Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Responsible for Consistency of presentation and standards for multiplebeauty, skin care, hair and frangrance brandsthrough store visits, coaching, sessions with Beauty Consultants, and communication with store management.</li> <li>Analyzing individual stores: identify sales trends and opportunities by store.</li> <li>Communicating specific stock opportunities to maximize volume potential.</li> <li>Executing Seasonal event strategy and marketing calendars.</li> <li>Training and developing Beauty Consultants to achieve retail sales goals, improve presentation standards, selling sills, and maximize retail sales opportunities.You mustteach, coach, motivate and inspire Beauty Consultants through example.</li> <li>Monitor Beauty Consultant performance to standards and review developmental opportunities with Director/VP. Identify areas of strength and weakness with both the business and people in each account. Formulate action plan to correct problems with specific goals and timetables.</li> <li>Insure superior floor placement of our brands vs. competitors.</li> <li>Gather competitive activity information and report back to Director/VP.</li> <li>Provide efficient feedback to Director/VP regarding effectiveness of strategies, trainings, selling tools, and products on a weekly basis.</li> <li>Responsible for execution of DIF and RTV strategies.</li> <li>Prioritize most urgent business needs; strong time management.</li> <li>Manage all Company expenses within the parameters set forth in the T&amp;E Policy.</li> <li>Understanding of specific nature of each branch of service and know how to get things done in each.</li> <li>Other duties as assigned.</li> </ul>
Requirements: <strong>Minimum Education Requirements:</strong><br /> <ul> <li>BA or BS degree required</li> <li>Will consider an Associates degree/certificate with proven retail experience</li> </ul> <strong>Experience Requirement (i.e. 5 yrs category mgmt or 3 yrs food brokerage):</strong><br /> <ul> <li>3+ years experience in a retail sales environment</li> <li>2+ years supervisory/training experience preferred</li> </ul> <strong>Knowledge, Skill and Ability Requirements (i.e. &ldquo;plan-a-gram&rdquo; software expertise, presentation skills):</strong><br /> <ul> <li>Strong communication skills; ability to communicate in a timely and professional manner.</li> <li>Value and respectpeople, build strong positive relationships with others.</li> <li>Demonstrated expertise in MS Office, payroll, sharepoint,data systems and payroll.</li> <li>Ability to travel 50% of time &ndash; overnight travel included</li> <li>Ability to work 40+hours weekly if needed and some weekends</li> <li>Ability to stand, bend, walk for up to 8 hours</li> <li>Ability to carry up to 20 pounds</li> <li>Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with flexibility</li> <li>Strong negotiation and presentation skills</li> </ul>
