This is a very flexible position with most all work conducted during the weekdays at client residencies, in the community, virtually, and from home.<br /> <br />ABOUT THE POSITION:<br /> <br />We have several openings for Direct Support Professionals supporting people in our Independent Living, Supported Living, Crisis Response, and Transportation programs. We have both full time and part time work available. These programs are rapidly growing and offer opportunities for career advancement.
Responsibilities: Services provided are dependent on the needs and preferences of the individuals we support, but may include assistance with:<br /> <ul> <li>Grocery and household shopping</li> <li>Meal preparation and cooking</li> <li>Safety awareness and preparedness</li> <li>Budgeting and bill payment</li> <li>Household maintenance and organization</li> <li>Accessing community resources</li> <li>Problem solving</li> <li>Social skills</li> <li>Medical and dental appointments and follow up</li> <li>Pharmacy interfacing and medication management</li> <li>Self-advocacy</li> <li>Transportation</li> <li>Behavioral intervention/support</li> <li>Crisis prevention and response</li> <li>Learning and exercising personal rights and responsibilities</li> <li>Other supports as needed to help individuals successfully meet their goals</li> </ul>
