Full-Time

Overview: <p>Our full-time, non-exempt (hourly), Triage Nurse helps to support our mission and team so we can work in the most efficient and effective way. You will work Monday - Friday, no weekends, no holidays, 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m. with availability for core business hours as needed. This position will work out of our clinic that is located south of downtown Indianapolis in Garfield Park.<br /><br /></p> <p><strong>About Adult &amp; Child Health</strong></p> <p>Adult &amp; Child Health has served central Indiana as a Community Mental Health Center for over five decades as a 501c(3) not-for-profit organization. We&rsquo;ve been a staple in Indianapolis since 1949, originally known as Marion County Child Health Clinic. In 1982, we officially became Adult &amp; Child Health. In 2017, we became a Federally Qualified Health Center, which means we can now deliver primary care to our community. Responsibilities: <p><strong>What You'll Do</strong></p> <ul> <li>Answer calls from call center to nurse station following policy and procedure to best serve the client&rsquo;s needs</li> <li>Collaborate with providers about client concerns both in person and electronically through HER</li> <li>Schedule client visits</li> <li>Update EHR with client concern, intervention, and response to intervention</li> <li>Work in clinic with other clinical nursing team members to meet the needs of both the clients and providers</li> <li>Knowledgeable in best practices for all age groups concerning the care of both primary care and Behavioral health clients</li> </ul>
Requirements: <ul> <li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree preferred, not required</li> <li>BLS, CPR, and First Aid required</li> <li>Required Indiana State Registered Nurse (RN) or LPN</li> <li>Ability to operate in multiple EMR&rsquo;s, the full suite of Microsoft Office products, and other clinically driven software</li> <li>Some travel among A&amp;C locations</li> <li>3-5 years preferred</li> <li>Must hold a valid driver's license with acceptable driving record and provide own, insured, transportation</li> </ul>
