Overview: The Staff Therapist will provide clinical services to clients served on the home based treatment teams. Responsibilities: <p><strong>Responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Conducting and completing clinical intakes within the required time frame</li> <li>Providing individual and family therapy to children and adults</li> <li>Supervising therapeutic visits between children and caregiver(s)</li> <li>Case management</li> <li>Providing accurate, timely progress notes and reports/documentation</li> <li>Attending court and DCS/Probation team meetings</li> <li>Adhering to DCS Service Standards, Social Work Code of Ethics, and Adult and Child policy and procedures</li> </ul>
Requirements: <UL><LI>LCSW or LMHC preferred or must be license-eligible</LI><LI>Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Mental Health Counseling, or other closely related field</LI><LI>Two (2) years of related experience</LI><LI>Child welfare and/or community based experience preferred</LI><LI>Available to work evening hours</LI><LI>Ability to maintain professional relationships with a variety of individuals (child welfare specialists, psychologists, DCS/Probation staff)</LI><LI>Strong organizational skills</LI><LI>Must hold a valid driver's license with acceptable driving record and provide own, insured, transportation</LI></UL>
