Overview: The Director of Revenue Cycle management will coordinate and supervise the organization's Revenue Cycle Management staff, billing and collection systems, including third party, and client activity. &nbsp;Oversees all activity related to Revenue Cycle to ensure that collections are maximized and records are maintained accurately and timely in keeping with Center policy and State and Federal laws and relations.
Responsibilities: <p>Responsibilities include but are not limited to:</p> <ul> <li>Hire, orient, train and evaluate staff to ensure performance standards are met and performed in a timely and accurate manner.</li> <li>Establish and implement departmental goals and benchmarks. &nbsp;Re-evaluate goals and benchmarks ongoing to ensure established goals and benchmarks are in line with other similar agencies.</li> <li>Participate in the development of departmental budget and maintain compliance with budget.</li> <li>Review and sign off on all PTO, payroll, and other items for department</li> <li>Discipline employees appropriately for any infractions against Center/department policies</li> <li>Provide reports to senior management regarding collections, payments, adjustments and denials</li> <li>Work with external vendors and third party payers to improved processes and resolve outstanding issues</li> </ul>
Requirements: <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree</li> <li>Five years direct supervisory experience in Accounts Receivable or the equivalent experience</li> <li>Experience in behavioral health or health care preferred</li> </ul>
