Overview: The Manager, Business Readiness and Change Management is responsible to plan, organize, direct, control, and lead large scale change initiatives and transformations within the business. This position will focus on the people side of change, including changes to systems, process, technology and organizational structures. This role will lead change adoption - defining the vision, understanding and capturing impacts, assessing readiness and providing the support and training needed for successful adoption of change. Will partner with leadership and stakeholders to ensure readiness to adopt the new approach and achieve targeted business benefits, and help champion change throughout the organization.<br /><br />Directly supervises exempt and non-exempt staff in accordance with company policies and applicable Federal and State Laws. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, effectively interviewing, hiring, terminating, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and counseling employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems; supporting and encouraging the engagement process.
Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Develop and implement change management plans for assigned projects including communications, engagement plans, change readiness assessment, stakeholder analysis, and organization - role alignment.</li> <li>Help define and build an internal change management competency to sustain the business solutions and drive continuous improvement; work with the training lead to ensure training content is complete and deployed on time</li> <li>Define and monitor -change report card- to measure progress across the project lifecycle</li> <li>Provide project leadership with regular status updates and identification of risks</li> <li>Identify business partners and manage the ongoing relationship with partners including periodic assessment of business needs, change impacts, change readiness. Will work with data to update plans, activities and provide periodic readouts to the business on change initiatives, stakeholders, readiness and adoption.</li> <li>Build coalitions with stakeholders in effort to obtain awareness, understanding, buy-in, and support.</li> <li>Manage strategies and detailed plans to ensure a cohesive approach is applied to all change management initiatives.</li> <li>Develop strategies to mitigate change resistance where necessary and avoid change fatigue.</li> <li>Provides effective and efficient solutions to complex business problems.</li> <li>Provides high level oversight and leadership.</li> <li>Establish and manage formal and informal change networks to help coordinate and drive change activities in person and virtually</li> <li>Work to measure impact, culture and accountability.</li> </ul>
Requirements: <p><strong>EDUCATION:</strong></p> <p>Bachelor's degree in a related field. Master's degree in a related field preferred. Relevant combination of education and experience may be considered in lieu of degree. Continuous learning, as defined by the Company's learning philosophy, is required. Change Management certification is preferred.<br /><br /><br /></p> <p><strong>EXPERIENCE:</strong></p> <p>Seven (7) years experience of progressive responsibility in a related environment with demonstrated technical knowledge that provides the necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities required. Three (3) years supervisory or lead experience in related field required. Bilingual skills preferred.<br /><br /><br /></p> <p><strong>SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE/ABILITIES (SKA) REQUIRED:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Experience of working in a previous change role supporting the development and delivery of change management related deliverables.</li> <li>Experience conducting change assessments, stakeholder analysis, developing communication plans, implementing change management strategies, and ensuring integration of change activities into the project plan.</li> <li>Ability to work under general direction.</li> <li>Ability to identify and anticipate risks.</li> <li>Ability to work effectively in a team environment.</li> <li>Proven track record as a credible influencer across the organization</li> <li>High proficiency in change management, organizational development and change, and learning management</li> <li>Working knowledge in project management, business strategy formulation, business process design and management, digital change management and communications methods.</li> <li>Excellent analytical, organizational, planning, verbal, and written communication skills and executive level presentation skills.</li> <li>Transformation and delivery implementation experience with large complex initiatives.</li> <li>Other related skills and/or abilities may be required to perform this job.</li> <li>Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.</li> <li>Must demonstrate leadership ability and team building skills to effectively supervise professional and non-professional staff and interact with all levels of management.</li> <li>Ability to work with and empower others on a collaborative basis to ensure success of unit team.</li> <li>Ability to effectively exchange information, in verbal or written form, by sharing ideas, reporting facts and other information, responding to questions, and employing active listening techniques.</li> <li>Ability to effectively present budgetary and/or cost information, and respond to questions as appropriate.</li> <li>Ability to establish workflows, manage multiple projects, and meet necessary deadlines.</li> </ul>
