Overview: <p>This role provides end to end business implementation support to a multi-department health insurance services organization and is responsible for driving operations implementation deliverables to successful, on time completion.&nbsp;Serves as a liaison between the operations business leaders and Client Implementation team to ensure successful implementation of new clients, expansion of existing clients and completion of complex initiatives.&nbsp;Coordinates with Client Implementation team to ensure the operations portion of the implementation process is executed accurately and on time.</p> <p>The Business Implementation Manager reports to the Director of Business Platform Performance and is accountable for managing resources and activities across multiple workstreams, departments and business units in support of operational initiatives. The manager shall be responsible for managing project scope, implementation priorities, client communications and quality delivery of projects. This role requires project management expertise, business acumen, ability to collaborate in a matrixed environment, attention to detail, teamwork, and a desire to work in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.</p>
Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Develops and manages project/action plans to ensure accurate customer onboarding and account readiness</li> <li>Able to effectively share/drive/process information and transfer knowledge to functional areas and account management groups</li> <li>Creates and maintains successful relationships with customers to better understand and achieve their business needs and goals</li> <li>Coordinates and chair implement kick-off meetings with clients and manage ongoing/new implementation meetings, both internally and externally</li> <li>Orchestrates business strategic growth, operational excellence and stakeholder engagement to deliver anticipated exceptional results.</li> <li>Solves complex operational challenges through prioritization of organizational initiatives</li> <li>Plays a lead role in setting strategy and best practices from an operation standpoint for new/existing implementations</li> <li>Facilitates/drives compliance-related implementation of healthcare operations processes or improvement initiatives</li> <li>Develops detailed work schedules, identifying goals, objectives, risks and resource allocation</li> <li>Monitors project status for significant deviations in quality, cost or schedule</li> </ul> <ul> <li>Participates in sales meetings to support Business Development team, serving as Operations subject matter expert&nbsp;</li> </ul> <ul> <li>Develops project work plans and coordinates with Client Implementation and organizes/builds requirement documents for all operational areas</li> <li>Tracks any/all open issues, working internally and with customers to address and resolve</li> <li>Coordinate with business unit leaders on identifying impacts and advocating for appropriate processes and controls to ensure alignment with stability operational procedures.</li> <li>Interfaces with external and internal customers and vendors to identify and/or analyze business problems and develop solutions</li> <li><a target="_blank">Troubleshoots and acts as liaison for operations with IT, business and/or Vendor for pre and post go live production release/deployment issues and/or activities</a></li> </ul>
Requirements: <p><strong>EDUCATION:</strong></p> <p>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in a related field. Continuous learning, as defined by the Company&rsquo;s learning philosophy, is required.&nbsp; Project Management Certification or progress toward certification is highly preferred and encouraged.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><a target="_blank"><strong>EXPERIENCE:</strong></a></p> <p>Seven years&rsquo; experience in a related field.&nbsp;&nbsp;3-5 years&rsquo; experience leading complex initiatives involving&nbsp;data, systems, and business operations required.&nbsp; Project management certification preferred.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE/ABILITIES (SKA) REQUIRED:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Recent and related health plan, payor or business process outsource (BPO, BPaaS) experience</li> <li>Ability to understand and abide by current healthcare regulations, as well as adapting to new statutory and other obligations</li> <li>Solid understanding of latest health industry and technology trends and able to view the new/existing implementation with that lens</li> <li>Exposure to other products in the market across the similar lines of businesses</li> <li>Ability to lead collaboratively across many teams in a fast paced, growth-oriented environment</li> <li>Thorough &nbsp;&nbsp;</li> <li>Solid organizational skills including attention to detail</li> <li>Strong working knowledge of project management methodology and tools</li> <li>Excellent analytical, organizational, problem-solving, and verbal and written communication skills</li> <li>Utilizes knowledge of the Project Management Institute's standards and terminology</li> <li>Ability to work independently, within a matrixed environment, and with multiple priorities</li> <li>Proficient in current industry standard PC applications and systems &nbsp;</li> <li>Ability to work closely with the technical support team in understanding and resolving systems issues</li> <li>Ability to develop, implement, and monitor policies and procedures</li> </ul> <ul> <li>Ability to appropriately manage resources, budgets, issues, and risks for the successful completion of projects</li> <li>Must demonstrate leadership ability and team-building skills to effectively lead teams of non-direct reports to deliver outcomes</li> <li>Ability to manage cross-functional projects without supervision</li> <li>Build effective business relationships and partnerships across the organization to deliver outcomes</li> <li>Experience using continuous improvement tools and methods is preferred</li> </ul> <ul> <li>Ability to establish rapport and maintain customer satisfaction without compromising priorities</li> <li>Ability to interact with others to build consensus and get decisions implemented</li> </ul> <ul> <li>Ability to maintain confidentiality</li> </ul>
