Overview: <br />The Analyst is&nbsp;responsible for learning, understanding, and executing the delivery of work for our internal and external customers.<br /><br /> <p><strong>WORKING CONDITIONS:</strong></p> <p>Work is performed in an office setting with no unusual hazards.&nbsp;</p>
Responsibilities: <br /> <ul> <li>Executing and monitoring production data and data exchange-related processes timely and conscientiously.</li> <li>Effectively supports projects/teams in order to produce desired results.</li> <li>Responsible for the communication of results and/or issues per team standards.</li> <li>Assists with implementing standard policies and procedures for providing routine service.</li> <li>Assures that corporate compliance is communicated, implemented, and monitored on an ongoing basis.</li> <li>Initiates troubleshooting and/or appropriate notification of issues timely.</li> <li>Monitors status of normal production processes as well as the progress of issue resolutions</li> <li>Shifts focus between clients and/or processes throughout the day to meet production needs.</li> <li>Balances incoming requests with previously scheduled work.</li> <li>Assists personnel, both internal and external, by answering questions and supplying information</li> <li>Develops and maintains an effective working relationship with internal and external customers.</li> </ul>
Requirements: <br /> <p><strong>EDUCATION:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Health Care, Information Systems, Statistics, or a related field.&nbsp;</li> <li>Relevant combination of education and experience may be considered in lieu of degree.&nbsp;</li> <li>Continuous learning, as defined by the Company&rsquo;s learning philosophy, is required.&nbsp;</li> <li>Certification or progress toward certification is highly preferred and encouraged.</li> </ul> <br /> <p><strong>EXPERIENCE:</strong></p> <ul> <li>One year experience in a related field, typically in at least two of the following areas is preferred: financial analysis, planning, health care economics, health care policy, statistical modeling, business decisions, analysis, or business management. &nbsp;</li> <li>Experience in healthcare is preferred.</li> </ul> <br /> <p><strong>SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE/ABILITIES (SKA) REQUIRED:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Strong analytical, planning, problem-solving, verbal, and written skills to communicate complex ideas.</li> <li>Intermediate SQL Server/Transact SQL skills.</li> <li>Strong ability to work independently and direct the efforts of others.</li> <li>Strong knowledge and use of existing software packages (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, etc.).</li> <li>Ability to work independently, within a team environment, and communicate effectively with employees and clients at all levels.</li> </ul>
