Overview: <p>The Expert Analyst is responsible for identifying, collecting, analyzing, and maintaining data required for annual HEDIS audits. This role focuses on HEDIS audit management, multiple medical record review projects, and presenting to client teams and executive leadership.</p>
Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Coordinate HEDIS audit management requirements (Roadmap, timeline management, an onsite visit, medical record review validation, supplemental data validation, etc.).</li> <li>Coordinate multiple medical record review projects including provider data cleaning, chase management, quality performance, and post HEDIS analytics.</li> <li>Maintains a comprehensive understanding and knowledge of HEDIS<sup>&reg;</sup>&nbsp;measures and requirements.</li> <li>Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously by establishing project plans and objectives to ensure goal attainment within defined parameters.</li> <li>Develops documentation and reports for all levels within the organization including executive leadership.</li> <li>Develops presentations and presents in front of client teams and executive leadership.</li> <li>Responsible for trend analysis, report development, ad-hoc analysis, and support.</li> <li>Compile data from a variety of sources and conduct analytics using software including Excel, Access to support business decisions.</li> <li>Ensures complete, accurate, and timely data for reporting purposes.</li> <li>Recommends and implements solutions to identified problems/root causes of issues.</li> </ul>
Requirements: <p><strong>EDUCATION:</strong></p> <p>Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Health Care, Information Systems, Statistics, Epidemiology, Population Health or a related field. Continuous learning, as defined by the Company's learning philosophy, is required. Certification or progress toward certification is highly preferred and encouraged.</p> <p><strong>EXPERIENCE:</strong></p> <p>Five (5) years of experience in HEDIS is required to provide the necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities for the role.</p> <p><strong>SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE/ABILITIES (SKA) REQUIRED:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Knowledge and experience with HEDIS audit requirements and measures.</li> <li>Ability to manage significant workload during HEDIS peak season and to work efficiently under pressure meeting established deadlines with minimal supervision.</li> <li>Strong communication skills are required to understand, interpret, and communicate ideas.</li> <li>Strong knowledge and use of existing software packages (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, etc.).</li> <li>Strong analytical, organizational, planning, and problem-solving skills.</li> <li>Ability to effectively interface with employees at all levels.</li> <li>Other related skills and/or abilities may be required to perform this job.</li> <li>Administer and adhere to corporate and departmental policies, practices and procedures.</li> </ul> <p><strong>WORKING CONDITIONS:</strong></p> <p>Work is performed in an office setting with no unusual hazards.</p>
