Overview: As a Software Engineer with our company, you'll be part of one of the most dynamic, diversified, and innovative healthcare companies in the nation. Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Collaborate with other software developers, business analysts, product owners, and IT professionals to develop and implement new features, changes, and enhancements to existing complex software applications in accordance with written specifications.</li> <li>Strong knowledge of C/C++</li> <li>Knowledge of C#, .NET Framework, WebForms, and ASP.NET</li> <li>Knowledge of web services (ASMX and WCF).</li> <li>Participates in Agile planning sessions, working closely with business analysts and team members to analyze requirements and provides design recommendations for complex systems.</li> <li>Designs and develops new software or makes modifications to existing complex software applications in accordance with written specifications.</li> <li>Develops software using disciplined processes, adhering to industry standards and best practices, including complete ease with agile development methods throughout the SDLC.</li> <li>Shares knowledge and provides technical guidance to other team members within the area of expertise.</li> <li>Takes part in reviews of work, e.g. design and code reviews.</li> <li>Supports enterprise level software infrastructure for external clients.</li> <li>Works with technical staff to analyze and understand problems with complex software systems and resolve them.</li> <li>Resolves customer complaints and respond with suggestions for improvements and enhancements.</li> </ul>
Requirements: <p><strong>EDUCATION:</strong></p> <p>Bachelor's degree in a related field. A relevant combination of education and experience may be considered in lieu of degree. Continuous learning, as defined by the Company's learning philosophy, is required. Certification or progress toward certification is highly preferred and encouraged.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>EXPERIENCE:</strong></p> <p>Three (3) years experience including knowledge of Test Driven Development. Microsoft .NET certifications (MCP, MCSD, or MCAD) preferred.</p> <div>&nbsp;</div> <div> <p><strong>SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE/ABILITIES (SKA) REQUIRED:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Hands-on experience with C/C++, C#, NET Framework, ASP.NET, WebForms, WCF, and .NET Web Services</li> <li>Knowledge of OOAD and multi-tier architectures, including MVC/MVP/MVVM design patterns.</li> <li>Knowledge of JQuery, HTML, JavaScript, and CSS as well as browser developer tools.</li> <li>Working experience with database schema design, stored procedures, and SQL scripts. using Oracle and PL/SQL</li> <li>Demonstrated knowledge of Unit, Integration, and Performance testing</li> <li>Experience with source code control systems, merging, versioning, release, and deployment (TFS preferred)</li> <li>Agile software process</li> <li>Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.</li> <li>Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.</li> <li>Flexibility to adapt to changing business needs.</li> <li>Team player who is delivery-oriented and takes responsibility for the team's success.</li> <li>Enthusiastic, can-do attitude with the drive to continually learn and improve.</li> <li>Highly self-motivated, creative, and able to dive deep in problem-solving.</li> </ul> <div><strong>SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE/ABILITIES (SKA) PREFERRED</strong></div> <ul> <li>RESTful API-Web Services</li> <li>Web development frameworks like Angular or React</li> <li>Experience configuring and tuning a local IIS environment</li> <li>Experience with RDBMS and SQL, specifically developing and tuning scripts, functions, and stored procedures</li> <li>SAFe Agile Framework</li> <li>Secured coding best practices, knowledge of Veracode preferred</li> <li>Agile tracking software, JIRA preferred</li> </ul> </div> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>WORKING CONDITIONS:</strong></p> <p>Work is performed in an office setting with no unusual hazards.</p>
