Overview: SUMMARY: <br />The Clinical Systems Analyst will be responsible for the support and configuration of Health Management clinical system applications. Support consists of issue intake, triage and assignment. In addition to operational support, the person in this role will need to elicit business requirements for new business requests, fixes, and execute testing and QA processes. This includes some analysis of business workflows, recommendations for system configuration to meet business needs, development, QA, testing, coordination and implementation of system configuration. <br /><br />The Clinical Systems Analyst will be responsible for Case Management training and quality auditing. This individual also collaborates with all pertinent Advantasure teams, project managers, contractors, clients, and software vendors where applicable
Responsibilities: <ul> <ul>Create case management job aids, training guides, quality audit tools and materials in coordination with the Health Management leadership team. </ul> </ul> <br /> <ul> <ul>Develop, schedule and lead training sessions on case management workflows, processes and multi-system use </ul> </ul> <br /> <ul> <ul>Evaluate staff performance in training environment and provide coaching and skill development support </ul> </ul> <br /> <ul> <ul>Perform quality audits on case management episodes, workflows and processes </ul> </ul> <br /> <ul> <ul>Lead troubleshooting efforts for configuration issues of moderate complexity and collaborates with respective IT teams on resolution. </ul> </ul> <br /> <ul>Document, track and monitor configuration issues and resolutions.&nbsp;</ul>
Requirements: EDUCATION OR EQUIVALENT EXPERIENCE: <br /><br /> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. Relevant combination of education and experience may be considered in lieu of degree.</li> <li>Continuous learning, as defined by the Company's learning philosophy, is required.</li> <li>Certification or progress toward certification is highly preferred and encouraged.</li> <li>EXPERIENCE: Healthcare background in a managed care environment required including experience in Case Management, Utilization Management and Claims Processing required.</li> <li>Five years' experience in an Operations environment with demonstrated technical experience working with multiple care management systems and teams that provide the necessary knowledge, skills and abilities. Some supervisory and training experience in healthcare is preferred.</li> <li>SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE/ABILITIES (SKA) REQUIRED:Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.</li> <li>Knowledge of business and management principles and practices required.</li> <li>Demonstrated flexibility, adaptability, self-discipline and ability to work independently, as well within a group is required.</li> <li>Ability to effectively exchange information, in verbal or written form, by sharing ideas, reporting facts and other information, responding to questions, and employing active listening techniques required</li> <li>Ability to interact and work effectively with internal and external stakeholders at various levels &nbsp;required.</li> <li>Ability to partner with product and technology teams to implement technology solutions required.</li> <li>Knowledge of Advantasure data structures preferred.</li> <li>Knowledge and proficiency in JIRA, JIVA, Symphony, IkaSystems and Microsoft applications required.</li> <li>Proven analytical and problem-solving skills required.
