Reporting to the Global Lead, Subject Matter Experts, this is an opportunity to work with sales and strategic accounts to provide subject matter expertise around ARGUS solutions, specifically ARGUS Taliance as part of the sales and marketing process. It&rsquo;s a chance to build and present proofs of concept and financial models directly to clients while making a tangible contribution to the product roadmap.</p> <p dir="LTR"><strong>Who you are</strong></p> <p dir="DEFAULT">You are a rare hybrid with expertise in Excel, a passion for mathematics and a technical mindset while being equally adept at building relationships and interacting with clients. You are outgoing and you enjoy making presentations. You might be working at a large financial institution or a commercial developer as an Analyst, on a Valuation or Asset Management team. Responsibilities: <p dir="LTR"><strong>Here&rsquo;s what our new Subject Matter Expert, Real Estate will do:</strong></p> <ul> <li> <p dir="LTR">Become an SME. You will develop a deep and broad understanding of the ARGUS Taliance and other ARGUS Software features and potential in order to facilitate the adoption of these products. You will design business processes in partnership with the customers that highlight the features and advantages of the platform.</p> </li> <li> <p dir="LTR">Support the sales cycle. You will join pre-sales conversations to develop an understanding of customer&rsquo;s business requirements and collaborate with internal and external teams to design models, make onsite or remote product demonstrations and develop proofs of concept. You will reply to client requests for information. You will provide marketing support for white papers, product videos, webinars and more.</p> </li> <li> <p dir="LTR">Build relationships. You will develop and manage strong internal and external relationships, collaborating with Altus business units on strategic accounts and with client services to properly position service deliverables in the sales process.</p> </li> <li> <p dir="LTR">Contribute to the product roadmap. You will work with the product management group to ensure the product development roadmap reflects our customers&rsquo; priorities</p> </li> <li> <p dir="LTR">Travel. You will travel 40-50% of the time to customer sites, conferences, etc. as required to support the sales cycle.</p> </li> </ul>
Requirements: <p dir="LTR"><strong>So, how do we know you are the next Subject Matter Expert, Real Estate, you have:</strong></p> <ul> <li> <p dir="LTR">The experience. You have 2-4 years of experience in real estate, real estate software or real estate consulting in the following areas: enterprise system deployment, underwriting, asset management, portfolio management, valuations, investment management, or business intelligence.</p> </li> <li> <p dir="LTR">The interactive client experience. You know how to elicit details and requirements, make presentations and generate documentation.</p> </li> <li> <p dir="LTR">The technical skills. You have expert-level Microsoft Excel skills and an advanced understanding of data modeling. Exposure to SQL and SSRS is a benefit. Experience with ARGUS Enterprise, ARGUS Voyanta or ARGUS Taliance will be considered an asset. You can quickly learn new software tools.</p> </li> <li> <p dir="LTR">The relationship building skills. You can foster trusting relationships with clients, traveling 40-50% of the time. You can collaborate with other parts of the business (sales, product management, development, etc.) to deliver outstanding customer service.</p> </li> <li> <p dir="LTR">The innovation. You have strong problem solving skills including an ability to think &lsquo;on your feet&rsquo; when faced with challenging questions in the sales environment.
