We need someone who can take ownership of the accurate and prompt entry of employee benefit information &ndash; enrolment, status changes, payments &ndash; for over 1000 employees in North America.</p> <p dir="DEFAULT"><strong>Who you are</strong></p> <p dir="LTR">You may be a recent grad, a parent returning to work or a new Canadian. You are seeking a full-time opportunity and you are willing to commit to a 13-month contract. Responsibilities: <p dir="LTR"><strong>What our new Benefits Administrator will do:</strong></p> <ul> <li> <p dir="LTR">Benefits administration. You will:</p> <ul> <li> <p dir="LTR">Complete manual data entry across multiple systems to process North American benefits transactions for new hire enrollment, changes from open enrollment or life events, and terminations.</p> </li> <li> <p dir="LTR">Enforce proof of relationship and eligibility guidelines.</p> </li> <li> <p dir="LTR">Assist with dependent verification and waiver of premium audits.</p> </li> <li> <p dir="LTR">Ensure documentation is accurate before processing in payroll or carrier sites.</p> </li> <li> <p dir="LTR">Open account applications with third-party administrators in a timely manner.</p> </li> <li> <p dir="LTR">Monitor accuracy of employee contribution deductions and employer match, as applicable.</p> </li> <li> <p dir="LTR">Support Benefits email boxes and responding to employee questions or escalating to other members on the Total Rewards team.</p> </li> </ul> </li> <li> <p dir="LTR">Record management and filing. You will:</p> <ul> <li> <p dir="LTR">Create files for new hires.</p> </li> <li> <p dir="LTR">Maintain accurate and complete benefit data and records for employee&rsquo;s life cycle.</p> </li> <li> <p dir="LTR">Ensure terminated employee files are removed, coded correctly, and stored.</p> </li> </ul> </li> <li> <p dir="LTR">Audit and Reporting. You will:</p> <ul> <li> <p dir="LTR">Provide Payroll team with employee deductions (health, dental, disability and life insurance, RRSP contributions, as well as taxable benefits and new hire information) as required (may include adjustment calculations for terminations).</p> </li> <li> <p dir="LTR">Support the team in various monthly or annual benefits audits.</p> </li> <li> <p dir="LTR">Assist with invoice reporting.</p> </li> </ul> </li> </ul> <p dir="DEFAULT">&nbsp;</p>
Requirements: <p dir="LTR"><strong>Our new Benefits Administrator will have:</strong></p> <ul> <li> <p dir="LTR">The Education. You have a diploma or degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field.</p> </li> <li> <p dir="LTR">The experience. You have 1-3 years of experience with data entry. You may have exposure to HR or a Group Benefits program. You respect the confidential and sensitive nature of the HR data you will have access to and work with; you are highly ethical in maintaining this confidentiality.</p> </li> <li> <p dir="LTR">The technical skills. You have intermediate Excel skills including VLookups. Ideally, you have experience with ADP Pay@Work, ADP WorkforceNow or ADP People@Work.</p> </li> <li> <p dir="LTR">The attention to detail. You are focused and meticulous in your work and comfortable processing and maintaining a high volume of files. You understand how benefits impact payroll.
