You want to take your combined expertise and channel your focus into building out the Talent Acquisition Recruiting Strategy and Programs for a company with an impressive growth trajectory.</p> <p>The experience you gain as our Manager Talent Acquisition, Recruitment Strategy and Programs will be invaluable whether you choose to build your career within Altus Group as a Business Partner, across into another part of the organization or take your accomplishments onto the next stop in your career path.</p> <p>Reporting to the, Director, Human Resources and Talent Management our new Talent Acquisition Lead will fill a vital role at Altus Group: managing the day-to-day recruitment process. and building multiple strategies that support Altus Group&rsquo;s efforts to hire the best candidates in a timely manner. Someone who is detail-oriented, friendly but firm and has innovative ideas based on sound research will excel in the role.</p>
Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Oversee the end-to-end recruitment process: act as the first point of contact for all recruitment requisitions; &nbsp;directly source and recruit for assigned positions.</li> <li>Build a company-wide recruitment strategy: design, develop and roll-out a company-wide recruitment strategy in partnership with internal and external stakeholders; facilitate and manage ongoing communication with stakeholders (i.e. hiring manager, HR, etc) as required.</li> <li>Collaborate. Partner with HR and hiring managers to develop recruitment plans to attract and select the right candidates.</li> <li>Budget. Project yearly recruitment expenditures for budgetary consideration and control.</li> <li>Create sourcing strategy: support the development and implementation of traditional and social media sourcing and recruitment marketing strategies to find top talent; research and recommend new sources for active and passive candidate recruiting.</li> <li>Formulate employment branding strategy: write and implement an employment branding strategy that enhances the visibility and reputation of the company; plan presence at events to increase networking through industry contacts, association memberships, trade groups etc.</li> <li>Implement technology. Roll out the use of Peoplefluent including communication and training.</li> <li>Advise and educate managers and employees on staffing policies and procedures.</li> <li>Maximize ROI. Improve existing recruitment processes and tools e.g. interview guides, requisition approvals) with a focus on candidate experience. Review, make recommendations to current programs such as Employee Referral Program, Recruitment Vendor Programs, College/University Relations.</li> <li>Leverage third-party vendors: manage relationships and develop understanding of advantages including procurement process, contract negotiations, service level agreements and vendor management.</li> <li>Develop reporting: track the progress and overall effectiveness of talent acquisition.</li> <li>Research. Develop an understanding of the business including our products, culture, leadership key influences and unique aspects of our industry. Stay on top of current trends.</li> </ul>
Requirements: <ul> <li>The education. A University Degree or College diploma in Human Resources, Business or related field is required</li> <li>The experience. A minimum of 7+ years of recruitment experience, ideally a balanced mix of agency and corporate recruiting.</li> <li>The technology. Expertise using social media, recruiting technologies and MS Office.</li> <li>The knowledge. Strengths in building and rolling out processes An ability to understand the hiring manager&rsquo;s needs and to proactively build a candidate pipeline. Exemplary interviewing, onboarding and training skills.</li> <li>The relationship-building finesse. Proven ability to build and maintain lasting relationships with corporate departments, key business partners, employees and vendor partners.</li> <li>The communication skills. Expertise working with candidates and hiring managers at any level. Exceptional conflict resolution, negotiation and objection handling skills. The ability to ask deep-dive questions to obtain results.</li> <li>The drive. Ability to thrive in a high-pressure, dynamic environment and respond to changes in priorities quickly.</li> <li>The language skills. Bilingualism (French) is an asset.</li> </ul>
