Overview: <p>The Director of Marketing Analytics is responsible for strategizing, establishing and implementing the reporting, measurement and data-driven systems to maximize the return on marketing investment.&nbsp; The Director will be a thought leader in how marketing applies a scientific approach to all our innovation and investment decisions.&nbsp; They will be responsible for building an internal capability that supports marketing&rsquo;s efforts to maximize value creation at AAG.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p>
Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Plan, implement and direct the overall analytics and reporting strategy.</li> <li>Lead the design and implementation of analytical projects, ensuring that these solutions align with the organization&rsquo;s direction and technology standards.</li> <li>Design and build decision-modeling tools to support marketing test and learn approach.</li> <li>Work with Sales and IT teams to deliver a stable and highly available reporting platform.</li> <li>Evaluate, recommend, implement and maintain reporting and analytical tools.</li> <li>Direct the ongoing development of existing reporting environments with a focus on standardization and consolidation.</li> <li>Develop KPI dashboards to support marketing spend optimization.</li> <li>Lead ad-hoc analyses to develop actionable business and marketing insights.</li> <li>Develop forecasting and seasonality models to support decision making and operations planning.</li> <li>Monitor campaign performance, explain variances and recommend improvement opportunities.</li> <li>Lead marketing planning and budgeting processes.</li> <li>Hire, train, and lead Analytics team members and ensure that team meets the reporting and analytical needs of the marketing organization.</li> </ul>
Requirements: <ul> <li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree&nbsp;required</li> <li>Master&rsquo;s degree or MBA is desirable</li> <li>10+ years leading an applied analytics function with 3+ years experience leading a team of direct reports</li> <li>Marketing experience a plus but not required</li> <li>Strong experience in extracting and manipulating large data sets, working in SQL and SAS</li> <li>Strong communications and collaboration skills</li> <li>Ability to manage multiple projects and deliver results in a fast paced and constantly changing environment</li> </ul>
