Responsibilities: <p>Position is open until filled<br /><br /><br />Ameristar Casino Resort Spa offers Team Members:<br /><br />Now hiring candidates 18 or older for all positions, including gaming licensed positions (excluding Beverage Server, Barback, Bartender)</p> <ul> <li>$1,500 Retention bonus offered for all newly hired hourly positions &ndash; Receive $250 on your first check! Additional $250 paid after 6 months, $1000 paid after one year (based on completion of pay period anniversary date)</li> <li>Non-Accrued Additional Time Off &ndash; After 90 days of employment, Team Members will be granted 80 hours for FT or 40 hours for PT for immediate use</li> <li>Health Benefits Insurance package effective Day 1: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, and Short-Term Disability for FT team members</li> <li>$700 Referral Bonus Program ($350 at 90 days $350 at 6 months) &ndash; for Team Members who refer new applicants</li> <li>Discounted Casino bus tickets</li> <li>Discounted RTD EcoPass for Team Members and up to 2 other family members</li> <li>Hot meal served by the Leadership Team once a month</li> <li>20% discount for Starbucks, Ara Spa, and all food outlets</li> <li>100% Colorado Gaming License reimbursement after 90 days of employment</li> <li>Hotel discounts available at all 43 PENN properties, plus discounts on goods and services</li> <li>Education reimbursement program and Annual Scholarship Program</li> <li>Career development opportunities</li> </ul> <br /> <p>Responsibilities include:&nbsp;</p> <ul> <li>Responsible for protecting and preserving the master bank assets including accounting for, documenting, and verifying the accuracy of all incoming and outgoing currency, coin, tokens, chips, cash, vouchers, TITO tickets, coupons, checks, jackpot slips, bank deposits, and other monetary units.</li> <li>Performs verification, reconciliation, and balancing functions including drafting, completing, signing, or otherwise preparing any necessary documentation specifically including, but not limited to the Vault Entry Log, Cashier Turn-in or Exchange Slips, Vault Count Sheet, Main Bank Summary, Vault Accountability, Drop Summary Reports, and reports required to reconcile self-redemption machines.</li> <li>Understands and efficiently operates all machines used in the course of business including computers or other information systems, software, and hardware.</li> <li>Verifies Count Room drops as a blind count including verification of each strap or brick, clip, and tokens counted.</li> <li>Verifies and processes all bagged tokens that require scaling and tagging.</li> <li>Prepares and processes Cashier and Casino Banker exchanges.</li> <li>Attends all departmental and company training programs or meetings as directed.&nbsp;</li> <li>Compiles information, completes, and submits reports as needed.</li> <li>Adheres to all departmental, property, and company policies and procedures.</li> <li>Meets all departmental or company deadlines including the timely completion of drops.</li> <li>Adheres to all gaming laws and regulations.</li> <li>Maintains communication with all departments, team members, and guests to ensure positive experiences.</li> <li>Maintains a high level of personal integrity and moral conduct free of questionable association.</li> <li>Maintains a neat, safe, and organized work area.</li> <li>Observes and follows all company safety rules and regulations.</li> <li>Implements and maintains a working knowledge of the property&rsquo;s System of internal Controls and Star Service Standards as well as Federal Currency Transaction Reporting Laws as they pertain to casinos.</li> <li>Performs all related and compatible duties as assigned.</li> <li>Maintains strict confidentiality in all company matters.</li> </ul>
Requirements: <div class="iCIMS_InfoMsg iCIMS_InfoMsg_Job"> <div class="iCIMS_Expandable_Container"> <div class="iCIMS_Expandable_Text"> <ul> <li>High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree and/or prior banking experience preferred; or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.</li> <li>Previous casino Cage or cash handling experience strongly preferred.</li> <li>Must be mathematically inclined; ten-key calculator skills required.</li> <li>Strong problem-solving, mediation, and consulting skills.</li> <li>Strong written and verbal communication skills; must be fluent and literate in English.</li> <li>Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism.</li> <li>Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with team members at all levels of the organization.</li> <li>Knowledgeable of state gaming regulations.</li> <li>Ability to maintain a high level of energy and take a proactive and strategic approach to dealing with issues.</li> <li>Data entry/computer skills required.</li> <li>Highly organized and detail-oriented.</li> <li>Ability to work with interruptions and divide attention among several ongoing activities, projects, or assignments.</li> <li>Must be willing and able to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.</li> <li><strong>MUST</strong>&nbsp;be able to obtain/maintain Colorado Support Gaming license:&nbsp;<a href="https://sbg.colorado.gov/gaming-support-license" target="_blank" title="Colorado Support Gaming License" rel="noopener noreferrer">https://sbg.colorado.gov/gaming-support-license</a></li> </ul> </div> </div> </div> <h2 class="iCIMS_InfoMsg iCIMS_InfoField_Job"><br />STAY IN THE GAME.
